The following morning, at the lobby,
"I haven't seen this in a while." Kotaro takes a picture from his wallet. It was him wearing a mascot's costume, and beside him was a red haired girl.
"I wonder, where could she be?"
Suddenly, Yotsuba walks in on him.
"Morning, Akashiro-san!" She says with a large smile.
"Morning, Yotsuba."
"Whatcha doing?" She asks.
"Oh, just looking at an old picture." Kotaro shows her half of the picture.
"Wait... that mascot looks familiar." Yotsuba thought to herself.
"Is that you in the costume?"
"Yeah, back in middle school."
"I see. Well, see you later Akashiro-san!" Yotsuba then leaves.
"Is it really him?" Yotsuba thought. They've seen him before.
Later, during lunch time...
"How's the school trip so far?" Ichika asks.
"Really fun! Even Futarou the study alien managed to relax!" Yotsuba replies, full of energy.
"It's alright." Kotaro says.
"I agree. Wait, what did you just say?!" Futarou says.
Yotsuba giggles.
"It's fun." Miku replies.
"It's... okay, I guess." Nino replies.
"The food's really good!" Itsuki says, as she eats a spoonful of curry.
"The dance'll be tonight, right?" Hikaru asks.
"Yeah." Futarou replies.
"Do you have a partner already?"
"No. I already told you, I don't plan on going to the dance."
"Aww."
Later that day,
"Akashiro-san! Uesugi-san! Come with me, quick!" Yotsuba barges in their room.
"Hey, Yotsuba-san." Hori waves at her.
"Hi, Hori-san."
The three then leave.
"What's up?" Kotaro asks.
"Could you help me with the logs for the bonfire?"
"Sure." Kotaro agrees.
"...Fine." Futarou hesitantly agrees.
They then head to the shed that holds the logs.
"Futarou, you can go with Yotsuba. I think I can carry one alone."
Futarou and Yotsuba then carry a log together.
"Here goes..." Kotaro lifts one log up, and carries it to the field.
A few minutes later,
"Hey. Need help?" Itsuki asks.
"It's alright, I got this!" Kotaro gives her a smile.
"Here." Itsuki carries the opposite end of the log.
"Thanks."
"Hey, Akashiro-kun..."
"Hm?"
"Do you... like anyone?" Itsuki asks.
