Verse 33: Wanna Go Back

The following day, they go back to the school.

At the Akashiro/Uesugi Household,

"We're home!" Kotaro shouts.

"Welcome back. How was the camp?" Isanari asks.

"It was really fun. Even Futarou enjoyed himself!"

"I'm tired..." Futarou says, as he carries his bag to his room.

"Dad, dinner's ready!" Raiha shouts.

"Come on, let's have dinner." Isanari invites Kotaro.

"I'll just take a shower." Kotaro heads upstairs to the shower.

"I wanna go back..." He sighs.

Kotaro remembers the night of the dance. He wasn't focused on anything else beside Miku.

"Is this really it? Am I in love?"

After he takes a shower, he then heads to the dining room.

"I'm starving. What are we having?" Kotaro asks.

"Pork Katsudon!" Tsukkun hands him a plate.

"Thanks, Tsukkun."

"Kotaro, could you call Futarou to come down here?" Nami says.

"He's probably asleep. He's really tired from the trip."

"Dig in, nii-chan!" Raiha smiles.

"Raiha-chan, this is so good!"

"So, Kotaro... how was the camp?" Nami asks.

"It was really fun."

"Did have fun with your girlfriend?" Isanari teases his stepson.

"Nii-chan has a girlfriend?!" Tsukkun says, surprised.

"No." Kotaro replies.

"I thought you and Futarou had girlfriends already?"

"They're just our friends." Kotaro tries to sway the topic away.

"Well, tell us if you have a girlfriend already, okay? We'll support you!" Nami says.

"Mom, stop!" Kotaro says, flustered.

Over at the Nakano Household,

"Haa~ home at last..." Itsuki lays down on the couch.

"You guys hungry? I'll cook." Nino asks.

"Yes please!" Yotsuba replies.

"I'll be in my room if you need me." Miku says.

"I'll call you once Nino's done cooking." Ichika smiles at her sister.

At Miku's room,

"I wanna go back..." She says to herself, while hugging a pillow.

"Kotaro... I think I like you." She stares at the ceiling, remembering the night of the dance. The same night she realized how much she liked Kotaro.
