Later that day, the test of courage happened.
"You will enter the test of courage by pair." Their teacher says through a megaphone.
Kotaro immediately looks around for a partner. Suddenly, someone tugs on his shirt from behind.
He turns around and sees Miku.
"Hey, Kotaro... could you be my partner?"
"Sure thing." Kotaro reaches out his arm and she clings onto it.
Meanwhile, Hikaru and Ichika decided to be partners.
Whenever something would jump out, Miku would cling harder onto Kotaro.
"Scaredy cat." Kotaro teases her.
"No, I'm not! Shut up!" Miku says, flustered.
"I don't mind spending a lifetime doing this with you." Kotaro thought to himself.
A clown and a mummy then jump in front of them.
Miku only stares at them.
"Oh, It's just Futarou and Yotsuba. How's it going so far?" Kotaro asks.
"It's all going great! A lot of people got scared already!" Yotsuba replies.
"Alright, see ya. Good luck!" Kotaro and Miku then leave.
The next participants were Ichika and Hikaru.
"Boo!" Futarou jumps in front of them.
Hikaru screams in fear, while Ichika just laughs.
"Great job, Futarou-kun."
"Hey, Ichika. I see you're with Ichinose-san." Yotsuba gives her a suspicious stare.
"It's uh... because Itsuki and Nino decided to pair up together, and Miku already went with Kotaro." Ichika explains.
"I see..." Yotsuba continues to give the same suspicious stare.
"Well then, good luck!" Ichika pulls Hikaru's arm and they leave.
Lastly, it was Nino and Itsuki's turn.
"Boo!" Futarou hangs upside down from the branch of a tree.
Nino screams in fear and runs away. Itsuki tries to follow her, but she didn't know where she went.
"Hey, follow them!" Yotsuba signals Futarou to look for the two girls.
He catches up to Itsuki, but Nino is still nowhere to be seen.
"Nino? Nino?" The two of them shout.
"Itsuki, you can head back to the lobby. She probably got back already."
Meanwhile...
"Where am I...?" Nino thought to herself.
Later, Futarou finally finds Nino.
"There you are." He says.
"Thanks... for finding me." Nino hesitantly says.
