Later that day, Kotaro heads towards the rooftop.
"Miku..?" Kotaro looks around.
He then sees Miku sitting on the corner of the rooftop, looking down.
"Hey." Kotaro sits beside her.
"Hi, Kotaro." She says.
"What did you call me here for?"
"I wanted to ask you something..."
"Huh?"
"I can't get it out of my chest..."
"This is it. She's gonna confess!" Kotaro thought.
"Here goes... you're not very good at Japanese History, aren't you?" Miku says.
"What?" Kotaro looks at her, confused.
"I saw your book earlier, you answered Oda Nobunaga instead of Date Masamune." Miku says, disappointed.
"Uh... what?" Kotaro is still confused.
"The book!"
"That wasn't mine! I didn't bring my Japanese History textbook today!" Kotaro explains.
"Oh... I'm sorry for accusing you." Miku hides her face in embarrassment.
"It's alright, don't worry!" Kotaro says to her.
"Kotaro, about your question last time..." Miku says, her face turning red.
"What about it?"
"How about you? Do you like anyone?" Miku asks.
"I- uh..." Kotaro can't answer.
"I see." Miku looks back at the sunset.
"Wait, no! I do like someone!" Kotaro says.
"What do you like about them?" Miku asks again.
"To be honest, I like how she's straightforward, always there for her siblings, and how nice she is. I like her a lot, I just can't tell her yet." Kotaro gets carried away.
Miku blushes.
"Is it one of my siblings?" She thought to herself.
Kotaro realizes what he said. "I'm sorry you had to hear all that! I got carried away."
"Hey, Kotaro. Next time, could you introduce her to me?"
"Okay. It's getting pretty late, why don't we go home?"
"Sure."
Kotaro reaches out his hand to help Miku walk.
"Hey, uh... Miku?" Kotaro stutters.
"Yeah?"
"Could you be my partner for the dance?"
