To Lies, Cries and Unsaid Goodbyes
I love how you forgot your promises—
that I will never see darkness again;
that we'll be in this lifetime and next—
as if you never really said themI love how you forgot your "I love you's"
and that I will always be your best part
and your light amidst life's darkest hues;
that you'll always find your way backI love how you watched me drown
from the sweet lies you pushed me in
from where you said you'd saved me from
as if you never let any of it happenI love how you watched me bleed
from the scars you've drawn on my skin
from all your made-up prince stories
and blamed every single pain on meI love how you broke my heart
then watched me pick up its pieces
as if you know nothing of my fall back
as if you never wanted it to happenI love how you shattered me
and found pleasure in my dark haze
I love how you played everything
and say that it was I that cared lessI love how you broke my heart and blamed it all on me
thinking I'd let it go, but baby, watch me turn you in
