Farewell My Love
Off he goes—drifting away from my touch
where he should've stayed a long time ago;
staying right where he's far from my flame
where his wings would never burn at allOff he goes and I watch his steps fade
into the multitude of souls that he should be
right where his fragile heart should stay;
right where his vulnerability is away from meOff he goes and I regret not bidding goodbye
so I just watch as he become one of the stars
scattered and glued in this pitch black sky
where it could only be seen during the nightAnd so I waited for the moon's time to come
Just for my lips could finally sing its song:"Off you go
Farewell, my love
I'd stay right here, for sure
and wait for you to come back
in my arms where you once belong
Off you go away from my touch
But promise me you'd be back
I'd stay here forever to wait
Farewell, my love
Promise, I'd stay."
