Li(n)es of a Broken Heart: A Reverse Poetry
I love you no more—
For I didn't mean it when I whispered
That I still ache to see you once more
That I still long to hear your songs;
That I still crave to read your poemsAnd do believe me when I say
That I love your flaws no more
That I want to see you no more;
That I don't feel the same anymoreYes, it wasn't real when I told you
That I still want to hear your "I do"
That I still want to feel your warmth
That I still want every bit of your heartLook into my eyes and hear them say—
That in my life, I no longer want you to stay;
That my body wants you no more this time;
That my heart badly wants us to part tonight;
That I don't want to reread our chapter;
That I don't hope of us to justify foreverYes, I was lying when my lips whispered—
I love you more than I ever did before
