Impossibility of Us
I found myself lost in the daydream
somewhere in a parallel universe
that my stupid mind crafted for me
where my heart was still with yours
I was deceived by the imaginary smiles
that for a second I thought were real
but then everything came to me now,
it's just my heart pulling its game on me
For truth was you are no longer here
and your return was last on the list
so I must move on from my fantasy;
from the impossibility of you and me
