To Dream Someone Else's Dream
All this time my heart believed
that my soul was fated to yours
and hoped one day I would be
the one you were looking for
But everything made sense now
as to why to hold you was too much
and why did I feel not worthy enough
for the warmth of your taunting touch
This was someone else's dream
that was not meant for me to see;
This was someone else's shoes
that was not meant for me to wear
Hence I know now why it felt too surreal
because all along, your love is not for me
