Tragedy in Reality
Tragic novels are fun
not until you became its protagonist
not until you felt its pain firsthand
not until death was more than
just the I-cannot-breathe
not until it knocks you down
not until its beam makes you weep
not until it makes you numb
with cuts that will forever bleed
Indeed, tragedy is fun
not until you felt the tears
yet not for another's heartbreak
but, for yours and more agonizing
