Wait for Me
I must've lived in darkness for so long
that I now fear the glimpse of your light;
that I rather lose myself in its shadows
instead of going under its heavenly skiesI must've learned to love his dark hue
that I doubt the color of you to fill me
for it takes me back to the I-love-you's
that I have longed then but now fearedI must've felt melancholia so much
that I fear your beam of happiness
for it takes me back to my tragic past—
a story of an almost and never forgottenThe love from my past engraved me fears
But despite it all, will you still wait for me?
