Missing-You Hymn
Is this a free verse
or is this just my pieces
glued back together—
in tangled phrases
in unequal lines
in one trashy poem
with shallow rhymes? Is this a free verse
or is this just plain lines
with emotions so deep
in one ice-cold night
amidst a lovers' fight
in an 11 o'clock dream;
a before-to-sleep lie?Is this a free verse
or is it just my tears
bottled up together
in a missing-you hymn
in an overthinking scene
but written dramatic as this
for it to be called poetry? Is this a free verse or is it just me?
Is this even a poetry or is it just my misery?
