Chapter 9: Activation

The Sakura Empire were forced to retreat after Akagi was lost and their mass produced sirens were inoperable. During the retreat the two crane sisters were in charge of the rear guard unfortunately they were beaten by Enterprise who was still in her alter form. Before she could finish the two cranes Ayanami was able to intervene and destroy her planes causing Enterprise to snap back to reality. Oh, there goes gravity which caused Ayanami to fall into the portal.

Javelin and Laffey were able to save her but she was now a P.O.W. of Azur Lane.

Timeskip...

As punishment for disobeying orders Laffey and Javelin were assigned to watch over Ayanami. The rest of the day was spent with the three destroyers along with Unicorn exploring the base with a certain carrier watching over them with uhm less than innocent thoughts.

Meanwhile the other ships were discussing what they were going to do with the black mental cube. They asked Akashi to be present in the meeting to ask her anymore info about it.

Akashi: "The only thing I know is that Akagi-sama made an alliance with the siren. She hasn't told any of us what the cube does. Only she, Kaga-sama and those two know what it does, nya~"

Prince: "Those two?"

Akashi: "Ah, Delta-sama and Enterprise-sama."

The entire room was shocked at the cat's sudden proclamation.

Prince: "Enterprise? What do you mean?"

Akashi: "We also have a human named Enterprise. But she is a shipwright that helps Akashi with injured ships. She's very good at her job, nya~."

Cleveland (A/N: Let's go Clevebro!): "And this Delta?"

Akashi: "She the more mysterious of the two. She always has a mask on which covers her face up to her nose and a beanie which covers her head. She has white hair and heterochromic eyes, one blue and one red. She always helped us by the repair bay when she wasn't busy, nya~"

Cleveland:" Anything else you know about her?"

Akashi begins to think of anything else she remembers of her white haired savior.

Akashi: "Ah, she is married to Akagi-sama and Enterprise-sama, nya~"

Hornet: "Huh, lucky gal."

Akashi begins to try and remember anything else until she remembered something she overheard from the two rabbits of the 2nd carrier division.

Akashi: "I remember Delta-sama was a commander before of the combined fleet. But she is currently on temporary leave for disobeying orders. She also trained the 1st and 2nd carrier division, nya~"

Belfest: "Trained? But you said she was human?"

Akashi: "She is. She is also smart and Nagato-sama still regards her as a great commander. She is the only person that any of the higher ups would listen to. Especially Akagi-senpai and Kaga-senapai, nya~"

Prince: "Can you possibly contact these two? We would like to try and talk to them if we could."

Akashi: "Unfortunately they left earlier to take care of something, nya~"

The four ships nodded before dismissing Akashi and leave the building but not before securing the cube. As they were walking back to the dorms they began to ponder what they will do with the black mental cube.
