Chapter 4

"You need a Refill," Tony asks as he takes a seat next to clay in Monets Cafe 

"you're parked in a loading zone" Clay says quietly to tony and looks up at him quickly but then looks straight back down at the table 

"Im not staying long," Tony says and then looks over at the table that Hannah had been referring to in the tapes "That was the table, yeah?"

"Don't pretend you don't know. You listen to the tapes. you had to. Who else has?" Clay asks tony 

"I'm not here to tell you that," Tony says as he lets out a soft sigh and looks over at his friend 

"then why are you here," Clay asks in confusion and anger 

"Clay, you are the slowest yet. What is taking you so long?" Tony asks 

"It's hard" Clay responds as if it were the most obvious thing in the world "To listen."

"of course it is," Tony says and leans back in his seat "its tapes, from a dead girl"

"Doesn't this affect you at all?" Clay asks 

"More than I can tell you" Tony replies 

"why can't you tell me," Clay asks quickly 

"you remember 7th grade? those fucknuts stuck your head in the toilet and all that shit?" Tony asks 

"yes," Clay says as he thinks about the bad memory 

"And I told you that me and my brothers would fix it, and you said 'sometimes, a guys gotta get through this on his own'" Tony replied with a smile

"i remember" Clay states 

"This is one of those things" Tony states 

"i can't hear her voice... without thinking of her" Clay said "without seeing her"

"Seems like maybe that was the idea," Tony says sadly and looks at clay with sympathy and understanding 

"God, your so trash at this game Zachy boy" Ella says as she continues shooting and killing him for the 20th something time 

"Youre just crazy good" Zach sighs and throws his head back in annoyance "rematch, I'm gonna get you this time"

"yeah yeah whatever you say" Ella smirked and restarted the game 

ella looks away from the tv as the microwave in the kitchen starts to beep

"Jesus Justin slow down" She groaned as she watched Justin smoke some more weed

He ignored her and walked over to the microwave and opened it, pulling out a piece of pizza but there was a knock on the door and Justin ushered for Zach to go get it but Zach shakes his head

"Its all you bro" Zach replies and looks back at the tv and Justin lets out a groan of annoyance and places the plate harshly on the table before walking over to the door and opening it.

Jessica Davis storms in and begins to shove Justin 

"You are such a Fucking asshole" Jess yells 

"Hey" Ella says as she sees her pushing Justin but she stops herself from doing anything, knowing that nothing was really going to happen to the boy 

"Come on. Hey" Justin says 

"How could you do that to me" Jess asks angrily and continues to shove him "what did you tell him?"
