"So Ella do you remember that movie that you loved so much? The outsiders? You loved it but you said you couldn't watch it with me cause it was yours and Jeff's movie but you wanted me to watch it but i didn't watch it, well until my last night that is. But you always told me to 'stay gold' and I would laugh and then you would just go on about how boys back in the 80s and 90s where so cute but I was hooked up on the boys from our decade.

You told me to stay gold and I always thought it was just two stupid words until I watched the movie and I understand now thanks to that kid, Johnny I think his name was? Tell me Ella do you really think all kids are innocent and then loose their golden touch when they grow up, do they loose their innocence or did they not really have any to begin with. Whenever I hung out with you I felt free, like I wouldn't be judged but I also felt protected. You told me you felt protected by Montgomery and I never really could understand why, how could you feel protected by the person who was the one hurting you?"

"Well Hannah ready for our movie night" Ella asks as Hannah opens the door and pulls the girl in for a quick hug and then Ella walks inside and is greeted by Hannah's parents

"Hi mrs and mr baker" Ella smiles

"Oh Ella it's so great to see you again. If you girls need anything just call out" Olivia smiles at the girls and Hannah pulls Ella to her room

"Okay so what did you get?" Hannah asks and sits down on the bed and Ella pulls out her laptop which had a slide in the side of it that you could put dvds in and then put a handful of movies on the bed

"Okay so I got the lost boys" Ella smiles and puts the first movie in front of Hannah "with the extremely handsome Corey Haim" Ella says and ruffles her eyebrows as Hannah laughs

"Then I got the sandlot, the mighty ducks series, the karate kid series and the Star Wars series" Ella smiles and puts the rest on the bed

"God you are such a nerd" Hannah laughs and then picks up the Star Wars movies "Star Wars seriously"

"Come on Han they're great. I'm surprised Clay hasn't made you watch them yet" Ella laughs

"You just like it cause you have the hots for Anakin" Hannah says with a laugh and Ella puts her hand to her heart and let's out a fake gasp of pain

"You have no proof" Ella giggles and then grabs the other movies "but you gotta admit. Boys in the 80s and 90s were pretty cute"

"You have a boyfriend" Hannah laughs and Ella stops laughing and sits up

"I know that. I would choose Montgomery over them any day. I would never cheat on him or even think about it" Ella says

"What makes you like him so much" Hannah asks and has also stopped laughing by now

"He makes me feel happy. He makes me feel protected" Ella says "I love him"

"Protected?" Hannah asks in confusion

"Yeah. Whenever I'm in his arms I feel safe. Like nothing or no one can hurt me. He'll protect me" Ella smiles and blushes just thinking about the boy

"But he hurts you" Hannah mumbles and Ella shakes her head with a smile

"He doesn't hurt me Hannah he just gets a little rough sometimes. He has trouble controlling his anger, it isn't his fault" Ella smiles softly "we've had this conversation too many times before and it never ends well. Can you please just drop it"

Hannah nods her head but that didn't mean that she wasn't still thinking about it

"Alright let's watch our movies" Ella says and picks up the mighty ducks

"The truth is Ella that you were my best friend. I loved you. I trusted you and that was my mistake, not yours. I heard you Ella on that night, the night you decided to hang out with the one person I thought I would never see you with. The person who you hated. Courtney Crimson"

Hannah walks into the change room but stops when she hears laughing. Hannah's eyebrows furrowed as she looks around the corner and sees Ella and Courtney crimson

Hannah couldn't believe it those two were like cats and dogs and Hannah didn't expect to see the two girls together. Hannah knew she shouldn't listen but she did anyways

"God Hannah is such a bitch" Courtney says and Hannah furrowed her eyebrows "she tried to put the blame of those two girls kissing on me"

Hannah waited for Ella to stick up for her but she didn't instead Ella said something else that made Hannah's heart break "I know right Courtney I mean who would believe her over you"

Hannah ran out of the room not wanting to hear anything else

"You stabbed me in the back Ella and that hurt me. It made me mad, and out of all of the people you could have said it too of course it was Courtney"
