Chapter 29

Ella sighed as her legs swung back and forward and her backside hurt from the hard plastic chair she had been sitting on for the last hour and a half.

Her head shot up towards the door once she hears it open and all three boys walk out with the principal behind him

Ella stands up and runs over to the boys and immediately checks all of their bodies for serious injuries and all of them had cuts and bruises but nothing to serious

"It has been decided that the boys will not be suspended due to it being equally all of their faults however they will have after school detention every day for a week" Bolan says and dismissed them all

"I can't believe none of you got suspended. What were you guys thinking" Ella says and wacks all of them in the stomach "you scared the shit outta me"

Montgomery reaches out for Ella again but Justin wacks his hand away

"Touch her again and I'll kill you" Justin growls

"Boys come on s-" Ella starts but is cut off by Montgomery

"Will you? Because last time I checked your petty threats don't do shit Foley. They just piss me off even more" Montgomery growls and Ella steps forward and grabs Montgomery's hand in her own

"You can't just hit someone every time you lose your temper Monty" Ella mumbles and looks up into his cloudy green eyes. He looked tired like he hadn't slept last night and he brings her hand up to his face and leans into it and Justin scoffs from behind them

"Come on ella you can't seriously forgive him can you" Justin and Zach both ask

"I fucked up alright I'm sorry" Monty mumbles "don't you dare leave me. Not now"

"I'm not going anywhere monty" she mumbles and pulls him in to a hug. She couldn't stand being away from him any longer. He was her home and she was his.

"You belong to me" Montgomery whispers and she nods her head and replies "always"

Zach looks away from them and Justin pats him on the back and the two basketballers walk off, disappointed in their best friend but also feeling bad for her. She was blindly in love and there was nothing they could do about it

"God I missed you. I'm trying baby. I'm trying to be better" Montgomery whispers and holds her face in his hand and presses their foreheads together "I'm trying to be a better person for you"

"I know monty. I know" she smiles softly and he leans forward and places his lips softly against hers "I'm not going anywhere okay"

"Zach that is honestly the most stupidest joke I have ever heard" Ella laughs and takes a sip of her Coca Cola

"I agree with Ella 100 percent" Jeff laughs and Zach scoffs and then chuckles

"You always agree with Ella tho so that's not fair" Zach laughs

"That my friend is because she is my other half" Jeff laughs and wraps his arm around the girls shoulder and all of them laugh

"Careful. Wouldn't want Leah or Montgomery to hear that" Zach laughs

Ella and Jeff roll their eyes simaltaneously and say "whatever. It's not like that"

They notice clay walking out of the door to the party and they wave him over

"Clay clay hey clay" Jeff calls and clay notices them and looks over at them

"Hey guys" clay mumbles then goes to walk off

"Hey Clay" Jeff said and runs up to him "Dude your leaving?"

Ella walked up to them with a smile but frowns when she saw the look on clays face

"Hey clay are you okay" Ella asks in concern "did one of the guys say something to you?"

"No. And Jeff uh yeah I kinda am leaving" clay says and tries to walk off again

"Looked like shit was happening for you in there" Jeff laughs and wraps his arm around ella again while pointing to the house

"You and Hannah looked like you were really hitting it off. It was good to see the two of you so happy" Ella says with a soft smile

"It looked like stuff was happening?" Clay asks in confusion

"Yeah" Jeff laughs and nods his head "didn't it?"

"I don't know man... I just" clay says and let's out a sigh while looking around "I don't ever know... anything"

"Hey clay. Maybe there's just something going on that you don't know about" Ella says and tries to comfort him "sometimes a girl can think there into it and then change their mind. And you just gotta except that man"

"Look clay, that's why you got us man" Jeff says to clay

"Yeah I know" clay sighs softly

"Whatever happened it there... just give it a minute and then go back in there and find her" Jeff says

"And make sure she knows that your not mad at her okay" Ella says with a smile

"I'm going home" clay says and turns to walk away again and Ella frowns at the boy

"Just hang with Ellie and me for a while man" Jeff says and Ella nods her head with a smile

"I can teach you the basics of beer pong. Zachs been challenging me all night" Ella smiles "of course I don't actually use beer. They guys let me use soft drink and shit"

"We're going for a beer run soon. Come with us?" Jeff says

"Your driving?" Clay asks I'm worry

"Well Ella can't drive. And I've been drinking Coca Cola my friend. Two beers. Two hours ago. I'm good" Jeff smiles

"And I'll be there to make sure that he doesn't do anything stupid" Ella grins and elbows Jeff in the stomach playfully while laughing

"No no. Thanks guys but I'm just going to go home" clay mumbles "I'm going to take a long walk home and consider the wreckage that is my life"

"Aww clay. Come on do you want me to walk you home?" Ella asks in concern

"No it's alright. I think I just need to be alone for a while" clay replies with a fake smile

"Alright we'll be careful" Ella replies

"You're a funny dude clay" Jeff says and shakes his head with a smile

"So I've been told" clay replies "see you guys Monday?"

"Yeah" Ella and Jeff both reply and Ella waves to the boy

"See ya guys" clay mumbles and then walks off

"Poor guy" Ella whispers and let's out a sigh "I hope Hannah's okay"
