"Where are we going" Zach calls out so that the girl could hear him over the sound of the wind crashing against their helmets

"You'll see" Ella yells back with a laugh and goes faster

Finally she stopped the bike and got off and Zach followed her. She grabbed his hand and led him over to the side. It was a giant cliff for rock climbing but they were already at the top

"What are we doing here" Zach asks

"Come on Zachy stop asking so many questions" Ella laughs and holds his hand tighter and then sits down on the edge of the cliff with her feet dangling off

"Ella get back from the edge your going to hurt yourself" Zach says quickly and Ella sighs and stands back up again

"You don't need to worry about me okay. It's just fun" Ella laughs

"If you fell down there you would die Ella. That doesn't sound like fun to me" Zach says angrily

"No one would care anyways" she whispers and looks down at her shoes. She tenses when she feels Zach pull her into his chest

"Don't say shit like that Ella. So many people love you. This world is cruel and you don't deserve the shit that it puts you through but if anyone can get through it. It's you" Zach sighs and then he sits down and pulls her down with him so she's in his lap with her back presses against his chest "now let's just watch the sunset okay"

"Jeff and I used to watch the sunsets together" Ella mumbles slightly "everyday. It was a routine for us and most days we went out and saw the sunsets too"

"He's watching it with us right now ella" Zach mumbles "he's never going to leave your side. He's waiting for you but heaven isn't ready for another angel just yet so you have to wait down here until the time is right"

"Dance with me?" Zach whispers and Ella turns around to face him slightly and she had a small grin on her face

"You want to dance? Right now?" Ella chuckles and stands up and so does he

"Dance with me like you love me" he mumbles out and she gives him a confused face

"Of course I love you Zach your my best friend" Ella grins and wraps her arms around his neck and his go around her waist and they begin to dance around slowly

"Your adorable and I can't believe your dancing with me right now" Zach smiles softly but Ella was confused

"Thanks Zachy. Why are you acting so weird?" Ella grins and he looks away from her with rosy cheeks

"I wish we could stay like this forever" Zach mumbles and she chuckles and buried her head into his chest all that she was thinking about was of this boy was either high or drunk

"How much did you drink at bryces house" Ella asks

"I love you" Zach says "no scratch that. I'm in love with you and I have been in love with you for basically my entire life"

Ella stops dancing and looked up with a shocked look on her face and she slowly pulled away from Zach

"Zach I..." Ella stutters out and doesn't know what to say "I don't know what to say"

"You don't have to say anything alright. I'm not mad. I know you don't think of me that way I just couldn't keep my feelings to myself anymore" Zach mumbles

"Zach I really am sorry. If if I hadn't met Monty and I just knew you it could have worked but... I... I'm in love with monty" Ella chokes out

"So here is the million dollar question that all of us have been asking this whole time... why him?

Why would you choose him? Heck even Zach or Justin would be better than Montgomery. So many boys adored you and yet you always chose him. Always

I mean Jeff and Zach. Those boys... they are completely in love with you and everyone could see it. Well I guess in Jeff's place we should say was. I know you loved Jeff and you love Zach. Your safety and happiness was both of those boys highest priorities, it kinda made me jealous. The little sparkle in their eyes when they saw you was bright enough to light up America. But you chose Montgomery De La Cruz. Why him?"

"We should go it's getting late" Ella says quietly

"They say heartbreak really fucks with you" Zach says suddenly and Ella turned away from him and sat back on the motorbike

"I would know" Ella replies "I'm surprised I have any heart left to break after the amount of times it's been broken"

Ellas phone suddenly began to ring and she rolled her eyes when she saw Montgomery's name on the front but she got worried so she answers it anyway

"Baby" Ella hears from the other side of the phone and it was obvious to her that Montgomery was completely drunk off his ass

"Monty what's wrong are you okay" Ella asks quickly

"I love you" he mumbles out and she closes her eyes and tries to keep her tears at bay

"Hang up the phone monty and tell me that when you are sober" Ella replies quietly

"I'm not drunk baby. I love you" Monty replies quickly and can hear her nose sniffle signifying that she was crying "no no baby don't cry I fucking hate it when you cry"

"Im not crying monty. Make sure you stay at bryces tonight I don't want you driving" Ella mumbles and Zach just watches her as his heart breaks. He just admitted everything to her and now she was on the phone to monty and worrying about him.

"Bye monty I gotta go" Ella says and hangs up not wanting to hear anything else

"I've been here through every break up you go through, through all the highs and the lows but you haven't ever considered me as anything but a friend" Zach says angrily

"I never said that Zach" Ella replies angrily and he looked at her in shock

"You liked me more than a friend" Zach whispers

"Of course I did. But when I met monty I knew the difference between loving someone and being in love with someone. You found someone else so I moved on" Ella replies
