Chapter nine

I felt fear. I felt like my life would end in any minute. In any second. Watching his disgusting smile creeping out, holding a gun... it was too much.
"NO! NO PLEASE I BEG YOU" he laughed, and moved the chair to the edge more.
"NO PLEASE! TAKE ME! TAKE ME INSTEAD" he shook his head

"Tsk tsk tsk" again that disgusting smile of his "i told you already.. someone payed me lot of cash for this, we don't want to disappoint them now, do we?" Chair was now hovering over the edge. She had tears in her eyes, trying her best to give me an apologetic look. No. I can't let that happen! Not now not ever! I can't let her die.

"Please" tears were running from my eyes. I could feel pain everywhere, i lost a lot of blood, but I didn't care. I needed to save her. With one last laugh, he pushed the chair. I could hear muffled screams escaping her.

She fell of a cliff

And it's all my fault...

Kara's POV

Me and Lena got hotel room, in the center of London. I needed to say, This journey is very interesting and lovely. Me and Lena  made up, got to go to the Londo
"Lena! Im going to shop. Want anything?" Lena was sitting on a chair, looking at the documents. Focusing really hard, pencil behind her ear. She hummed in response and shook her head

"No I'm fine thanks" i sniffed a laugh

After buying some food, i went to the hotel. suddenly i heard a scream. The voice was familiar.. Lenas voice! I ran up only to be met by some guys in black. They didn't have masks on. But didn't have familiar face either. One of them took Kryptonite. So they knew who i was. My body began to shake, i felt weak. I couldn't do anything. And that's when, i lost consciousness, the last thing i remember was Lena's scream.

I woke up in a black room, my hands were chained to the chair. Lena was sitting next to me, cuffed. Fear in her eyes. Someone in the dark corner stoop up and exclaimed
"You woke up! Finally" His smile creeped me out. He was tall, facial hair, dark messy hairstyle, brown eyes. creepy. If you would imagine a stalker, you would imagine a guy like him. Before i could speak, Lena turned into her furious 'i will make your life living hell' mood

"Who are you?! What do you want from us!?" The man chuckled

"Awh, you are not the patient one are you?" He caressed Lena's cheek, i swear i was gonna explode in there.
"What's the hurry! We have whole day to have fun" i tried to break the cuffs, but my hands were hurt, and i felt dizzy. "Now now, that's not a good idea... you have Kryptonite chip inside you supergirl" he smiled "I wouldn't try, if i was you" now i really felt scared, if they knew my real identity then they knew about everything! Everyone i loved! I growled at him "so, if you are both awake...Let's get started" his eyes beamed.

And then he punched me.

After long punching scenario, i was weak, pretty sure i broke my nose. Blood was all over my face. Thankfully, Lena didn't get injured, or punched. But her face looked pale, and pained. Her mouth covered, she muffled what i guess was every swear word in every language she knew. The guy uncovered her mouth,
"WHAT DO YOU WANT?! WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?!" Man chuckled.

"Have you ever heard of hired killers?" Lena growled at him "sweetheart. Someone hired and payed big bucks to have you two killed. I usually kill people at the beginning... but then i found out it was a Luthor and a Super, I thought, why not have fun first?" He laughed maniacally

"You are a psycho!" The man held his hand on his heart, with fake offended look, then smiled

"Thanks"

After some time the man returned, he signaled guards. Soon they hit me with a bat i guess, so because i was weak, I blanked out.

When i woke up, I was handcuffed to a chair. Brightness hit me, i saw sun. In the moment i felt hopeful, but then i remembered... Kryptonite chip. We were at some kind of cliff, outside of city. At the down, Water crashed through surface. Great. Lena was at the side, her mouth covered, her eyes puffy. Soon the psycho showed up. He still had that disgusting smile.

"You are not fan of waking up on time are you?" He laughed. His British accent showing.

"I think we deserved to know your name at least" i spat, well Lena's mouth was covered, so someone had to do whole rough talk. He laughed and said

"You're blowing up all the fun" tooking out a gun, his eyes twitched "but fine... my name is Corey. I don't care if you know it. Dead people can keep secrets" dead people? I felt scared. Lena. I looked at her, she had same face with full of horror. She tried her best to not show it. Lena and her bravery.
"Now let's get down to business, shall we?" He smiled. Corey got closer to us. I tried to unlock my hands, But i was too weak. He got closer to Lena. I started to move more aggressively. Lena fought to free herself. She jumped and tried to get away.

"Don't you dare lay your disgusting unwashed finger on her!"

"I wash everyday thank you very much" corey grabbed Lena and started to move

Present time

Adrenaline rushed in my veins. I sensed and felt Sun like never before, my anger was fighting with pain. Eyes started to blow up, my laser! It was painful but I didn't care. Lena was going to crash. In milliseconds, i shot Corey in the eye, he screamed in pain and struggled backwards. I still felt weak, but only for one second my powers returned, and it was enough to set myself free. and without a second thought i jumped. I jumped into the water, to save Lena. She was falling, single tear on her beautiful cheek. Her eyes shut, she fell into water with splash. I went with her. It took every muscle in me to free her from chains. I grabbed her and swam to the beach. That place was down the cliff, so Corey couldn't see me, and if he did, he wouldn't be there in 15 minutes. After we got to the beach i placed Lena down, her chest was going up and down heavily. 1..2..3 push. Trying to give her medical help while also crying

"Lee.. please please please! Don't leave me here. I need you! I'm sorry. It's all my fault! If I hadn't tell you to stay. If I hadn't had an idea of that stupid amusement park. We wouldn't be in London. I'm sorry! I am so sorry. Just don't leave me here! We still have to have brunches! You still need to punch me or slap me for my mistakes!" Suddenly Lena coughed, water escaping from her mouth. I felt so happy and so relieved, happy tears escaped my eyes, i hugged her senseless.
"Don't you ever do that to me again you stupid dork!"
