Chapter twenty five

"Are you ready?" Lena muttered

"Ready as I'll ever be" Kara sighed, she took Lena's hand and went in the building.

They were heading in the building Diego "brought", week has passed since his arrest, But Luthor and Danvers still visited prison, his trial should have been in a month. After visit, Kara and Lena discussed the remaining part of the case, Alyssa. So they decided to go in the infamous building, that Diego thought he brought.

So they went inside, hand in hand, the building was abandoned, inside of it were junk, some of the street paintings too, graffitis. Place seemed fully abandoned, but Luthor knew better. They passed through the hall snd went in the elevator

"This place seems even more abandoned than Kate's in Gotham" Kara murmured

"Gotham?" Lena asked surprised. Kara lifted her head and chuckled

"Long story" elevator opened and went up. "I'll tell you about it after" Kara smiled
They stopped on the document floor, before coming here Kara asked Winn to get the blueprints of the place. Still hand in hand, Luthor and Danvers started searching the whole place, the floor seemed abandoned too, no lights, many boxes and dirt. but the documents in the desks were cleaned and perfectly placed,
Kara fidgeted with her glasses as she looked for the right file. After some time Danvers squealed

"Lee I found it!" Luthor stopped searching and went to Kara who held blue document folder, they opened the folder and took out the file, Kara sighed before reading. Lena placed her hand in hers and patted her encouragingly, Danvers looked at Luthor with a smile and started reading
Her eyes widened, and she looked at Lena
"We were right..."

Suddenly they heard footsteps approaching, but it was too late to turn, as someone hit them with something sharp glowing green. and both of them passed out. The man shook his head and chuckled in disgust

"You shouldn't have come here girls" Corey snarled "now I will make sure to kill you" and he touched his patched eye. He grabbed their bodies and took them

Kara woke up in a dark room, she struggled to open her eyes, everything was still blurry, but she could see a silhouette looking at her. Danvers blinked and looked at the silhouette, then her vision became better she could see a woman, standing next to her, she was tall, dark, with green eyes and dimples

"Ms Blake?" Kara asked. Woman looked at her, then back at Lena, who was still passed out.

"Yes, I am Alyssa Blake, how do you know me?" Kara stood up, nearly falling, but at the end she stood still

"Cat Grant made us work on your case"
Alyssa smiled, and shook her head

"Should have known... she always looked out for me" she sighed "let's wake your friend up"

Lena blinked her eyes and looked around, she found Kara and Alyssa looking at her, Luthor smiled and sighed
"We should stop always waking up in this kind of places" Lena furrowed her brows "what is it? Our fourth time?"

"It's fate Lee" Kara chuckled, and helped her stand up. Then She pointed at the woman and turned to Lena
"This is Ms Alyssa Blake" Lena looked at her. She kind of expected her to be there,
But didn't know exactly. Now they were sure. Lena took out her hand

"Lena Luthor" Alyssa took her hand "We came here to help you escape"
Ms Blake shook her head and started to say something but got interrupted by the sound of the lock. The door opened and Corey came in, with creepy smile on his face, someone came in with him too, but he stood in the shadows so they couldn't see him
"Look what we got here" the mystery man said in deep voice

Lena shook her head, and snarled at the voice

"You can come out, we know who you are" She stopped, for dramatic moment
"Henry"

The man with deep voice stepped out of shadows, Henry Doss, the one they saw on the first day of investigation, in his store. But he wasn't the same fat, hairy short man. No, instead he was tall, dark handsome dude. Somehow he looked similar to Diego. Next to him stood Corey, with still his iconic creepy smile on his face. Henry sighed and snarled
