Mukhang sineryoso ata ni Thaurn ang sinabi kong 'I like food. I like everything.'

The first week of school, lagi akong sinusundo ni Thaurn after ng class hours namin. Pagkatapos ay pupunta muna kaming trading center para magmeryenda.

Mula nang sinabi ko sa kaniya na sa kahit anong pagkain ay ayos lang sa akin, sa sumunod na linggo ay hindi sa Potato Corner niya ako dinala. Sa halip ay pumunta muna kaming food court para subukan ang iba't ibang pagkain na nandoon.

Ang una naming pinuntahan ay ang Waffle House. Inorder ko ay 'yung banana-chocolate samantalang sa kaniya ay ang plain waffle lang. Sinabihan niya akong maghanap na ng mauupuan naming dalawa at siya na ang bahalang kumuha ng order namin.

Nang makahanap ako ng vacant table, umupo na ako roon at nilabas ang cellphone ko. I took a boomerang of Thaurn waiting at the Waffle House counter. I tagged him on the story, but before I could post it I stopped for a while.

I watched the boomerang as it played all over again. It was just Thaurn, standing at the counter with his college's uniform. A hand in his pocket while the other hand was holding his wallet. I was zooming in and out as I recorded the boomerang.

I didn't notice that I was smiling like a fool just watching his boomerang. Kung hindi ko pa nakita ang repleksyon ko sa cellphone screen ko ay hindi ko malalamang para na pala ako ritong timang na nakangiti!

What are you even smiling about, Rhelle? I-It can't possibly be Thaurn. I was smiling because.. libre niya na naman pala ulit ngayon kahit waffles ang kakainin namin at hindi na fries. Yeah, tama that must be it.

When I realized how the boomerang would look at if it were seen by other people, they'd probably assume there was something between us, right? I didn't want them to think like that, after all, Thaurn and I are just friends.

I sighed. Instead of posting it, I just sent it to Thaurn through DM on Instagram. Just then, I remembered about my limit on using social media platforms for a while.

Zaque advised me not to be so active in social media for a while. After all, Mommy's case with the drug-lord is still unresolved and I didn't want to gain any unwanted attention just because of my posts.

So I limited my usage on the social media platforms for now. Wala namang masama at mawawala kung gagawin ko iyon, besides I was busy on ny studies to post a lot on social media. I had a lot of things I could be busy about. School and houseworks.

After a few moments, Thaurn sat in front of me. I looked up at him, nakita kong linapag niya ang tray na naglalaman ng dalawang waffles at dalawnag fruit shake. Akmang kukunin ko na sana ang waffles ko nang bigla iyong agawin ni Thaurn.

"Two snacks, pick one." He said raising my waffles near his face.

My forehead creased at his statement. Ano raw?

"What?" I asked.

He smiled at me, showing his perfectlt aligned teeth. "Two snacks, pick only one between the two," sabi niya habang nagpapalit palit ng turo sa sarili niyang mukha at sa waffles ko.

I rolled my eyes when I realized what he was meaning. "Hindi ka yummy, Thaurn. Keep on dreamin, I'll take my waffles please," I said sweetly.
