"Alright, ladies and gentlemen. The race are starting in fifteen minutes. We ask you to finish all your merchandise and food purchase and head back to Big Willow Track, thank you," Announcer reminded. "Alright. We need five contestants. So, I'd like to send Ken, Eirine, Hana, Hina, and Joseph for this race. Sounds great?" Shizaki told his opinion. It was unusual as he didn't declare his words right away. Our time were short, perhaps.

I used the Speedster that Jotaro told me to use, and Ken used the Motul Pitwork Z. We did some last-minute preparations, wore our racing suit and helmets. Hina borrowed Aya's Peugeot 208 T16, and the others used their specially tuned cars. We then rolled our cars into the grid.

"That BMW's cool and all, but it ain't no race car. I don't see any weight reduction. That's where we can take our advantage. Agility!" I thought. I fired up the compact Speedster. The inline 4 sports fired up. "This thing barely has anything inside here, i bet the weight is under 1 ton, the car itself is pretty small." I thought. "C'mon guys! Let's not let some street pimp beat us official racers!" Ken motivated. With the tricks and techniques that we learned at rally and our previous races, this is the test that will prove our worth in the official racing scene.

G-Effect boss got the headstart, with his opposition Bushido trailing. Ray, Hina, Hana, Eirine, Ken, then me. "All positioned. We're witnessing a fantastic moment, right here, right now," The speaker had spoken. I revved my engine. Vrrrmmm! Vrrrmmm! Ken on my side duplicated. Vrrgrgrgrgrgrg! "Ohh.. Ohhh..." MC enthused as an indicator lamp glared. The announcer shouted, "Here we go, Everybody!" All vehicle were pushed by their engines after the green indicator lamp reminded.

Corners desc:

Turn 1: "Castrol corner" is a 90 degree high speed left-hander.

Turn 2: "The Rabbits Ear" is a double apex sweeper

Turn 3/4: "The Omega" is an uphill and downhill section with camber change, this is the most technical segment of the layout

Turn 5: A quick left-hander that sets up for the fastest sections of the track

Turn 6: "Monroe Ridge" is a gradual bump. It is common for fast riders on higher powered motorcycles to lift the front wheel over this downhill section. A good line and drive through this turn is essential for a good lap time.

Turn 7: "Repass Pass" - a slight bend in the track.

Turn 8: High speed right hand corner. The lead in to this turn is the fastest section of the racetrack and coupled with the turn itself - probably the most critical for a good lap time. It is also the fastest turn on any racetrack west of the Mississippi River.

Turn 9: Decreasing radius right hander, with a big dip right before the apex. A good line through this turn is crucial for top speed on the front straightway to the start/finish line.

All our cars accelerated. Almost immediately, Hina's car jolted forward and blasted off, with her Peugeot's devastating 875 HP with only the weight of 875 Kg, what a power to weight ratio! 1:1!

"That Peugeot is a space rocket!" The mic commented, "And she leaves the Grip King far behind like his ex!" Unfortunately... Nononono! Skreeetch! Thud! "Ouch! Front runner had been dented deep. Aaand... Ray Krieger takes his first place again!" Yeah. Our victory lasted short.

Hina got her Peugeot running again, the front fender unscathed, due to the giant front splitter's sacrifice. She continued chasing Ray, which was far forward. With only a couple of seconds, she caught up, along with all of us. "You do pay for that front splitter, Hina." Aya muttered from the distance.

"AMAZING! That 208 T16 is already side by side with Grip King!" MC cheered and applauded, followed by his mind-controlled crowd. "They're heading to The Omega! I wonder if these speedy rides are swift enough," He made everyone wonder.

"The Peugeot's excellent All Wheel Drive (AWD) makes the Omega look like a cake walk! The Peugeot took the lead!" They kept racing until they to the high speed sections. Hina forgot one of this car's weaknesses, top speed. It may has devastating acceleration and power, but its short gear ratios makes the top speed pretty low. Slowly, Ray's BMW started to creep up on the Peugeot.

"Ahaha! Peugeot had some troubles in the last three corners, and... Bam! Ray's BMW stole her throne!" Announcer commented in vigor. Her low top speed made Ken and I able to bypass Hina.

"Heh... My machine should've been maximized," Eirine regretted as her Mazda RX-8 and Hana's Lexus IS 350 were in the 8th corner, while I was already in 9th. "True," Hana replied.

While Hina and Ray fought for the throne, I was just cruising in this 420 HP Speedster, trying to catch up, then discovered a hidden button on the dashboard. It said "2nd turbo activation". What's this? I pushed the button then... Whiiiing! Fwooosh! My torso was pulled to the seat. I also detected that turbocharger in this Opel had gotten louder. YEEEAAA! Jotaro's speedster cut the clash between the Peugeot and the BMW, then entered the second lap. "See that Opel? That's how wise mediator works, People!" The spokesperson thrilled everyone.

"What the? I thought Joseph was at last place, how did he suddenly jet to 3rd?" Ken wondered. "Nice thing you have this feature Jotaro." I muttered. It is now lap 2/3. With the Peugeot being as agile as a cheetah on corners, and the Speedster being as fast as the wind at straights, we put the pressure on Ray. My pressure caused my Speedster to gain 2nd place.

Plus Ken's Fairlady Z on the back, Ray was cornered on The Rabbit's Ear. He was unable to get into the inner corner. Halfway to The Omega, swoop! Ruby Fairlady managed to get into 3rd position. Bye bye, Ray.

We swooped through the corners, and through the final lap we go. Turn after turn, eventually, we crossed the finish line, Me being first, Hina 2nd and Ken 3rd. The crowd cheered as we cherish our Victory. "Good work guys. Another victory for the team." Shizaki said through intercom.

I felt less challenge. "But seriously though, THAT easy?" I interviewed my crew, to see if they all had the same thought. "I don't care! We are VROOM-ing out there in actual sense of speed," Hina pointed. "I listened Chiyu. Thank goodness," Ken answered. Last duet Eirine and Hana stood in silence. No stories to tell.

"Well congratulations Bushido. You have beaten me fair and square." Ray shook Shizaki's hand. Chu-Chu came in strolling into the pits. "Eugh, what happened? How long was i out for?" Chu-Chu wondered. "Mommy! Uh, man with white and blue car win!" Chiya, Chu-Chu's daughter told her. "White and blue car?" Chu-Chu questioned. "Ehmm, big wing! Big big wing!" Chiya tried to describe the Opel Speedster.

"What?" The mother still didn't get it until she spotted me leaning on the ride her child had illustrated. "Oh! Good good," She rubbed Chiya's soft head, then walked towards me, "Cong- *yawn* -rats. Sorry". "I hope you had a good rest." I said. "Alright, so our next gig is in a week, in Infineon Raceway." Shizaki explained. "In a week, great, i need a break." Chu-Chu relieved. "Say, Joseph, let's take the Opel to the garage shall we?" Jotaro suggested.
