"we're here" hyein raised her head from her phone to the window and her jaw immediately dropped to the ground. she got out of the car and stared at the house- no mansion- wait no to hyein, this is most certainly a castle.
she can feel the wealth of these people just by looking on the outside and hyein bets it's even more glamorous on the inside. hyein knows mrs. zhong since she was a little kid but she has no memory of visiting her house, usually she would see mrs. zhong in her house
so this might be her very first time visiting the older woman's house and she is definitely drop dead amazed.
'i never thought chenle was this rich, what the actual fu-'
"yah min hyein, these bags aren't going to be carried by themselves right? hurry your butt over here" her thoughts were broken off from her mother calling her in so she hurriedly went to the trunk to grab her belongings.
"looks pretty right" her mum nudges her side as she chuckled at the shocked expression her daughter is wearing. "it's really beautiful" hyein whispered out as her eyes kept scanning around the house while her mother shook her head in amusement before ringing the doorbell
not a second later, the door opened and a woman stood before them. hyein looked at her attire and she could tell that this woman is a maid
'of course, rich people always have maids'
the middle-aged woman bowed and gave the two a warm smile, "you are madam's guests i suppose. madam is waiting in the living room, you only need to walk straight through the hallway and you'll arrive there shortly"
"let me take care of your belongings" the maid took a step forward and take their belongings before taking a step backwards and went to the side - making room for them to come in. the mother and daughter exchanged a few looks before shrugging and stepped inside
of course, they didn't forget to bow back to the maid as gratitude. then they walk through the long hallway, hyein's eyes went everywhere as she gazes to the decorations on the wall with silent "wow"s leaving her mouth
her mother noticed her daughter's actions and chuckled at how adorable she looks. seconds later, they arrive in an enormous wide space. there is a huge silver chandelier hanging on the ceiling giving light to the whole room, a wide flat screen tv was stuck to the wall with decorations surrounding it - in front of the tv there's a modern coffee table with a large c shaped sofa surrounding it
judging from the modish style of the sofa and the fluffy pillows on top of it, hyein can tell that sofa is extremely comfortable. hyein's eyes went to the plants around the room, there were some on top of a table, some in the corner of the room but what amazed hyein the most was the ones hanging near the window making it seemed very aesthetic
"ah~ you're here finally, i feel like i've been waiting for ages" hyein was surprised that she didn't notice a woman sitting on the sofa, the said woman approached the two with a warm smile
