"what took you so lo- oh! popcorn!"
hyein rolls her eyes at hearing his sudden change of mood as she lazily walks towards chenle's bed while holding the bowl of buttered popcorn in her left arm.
"we ran out of the cheesy ones"
chenle who had his eyes focused on the bowl of glory wasn't fazed by her words as his eyes continued to twinkle as if he was a child at the sight of candy in front of him.
amused by his silent reaction made her chuckle as she holds out the bowl to him which he took gratefully. the girl took a seat on the empty space beside him before leaning comfortably to the headboard as she straightens her legs
the comfortable position almost made her sleep until she saw a shadow moving across her face.
opening one of her eyes, hyein was surprised to see a piece of popcorn in his hand waiting in front of her lips
without words, hyein loosely grip chenle's hand and moved it towards her mouth before taking the piece between her teeth and released his hand
knowing how sensitive she is with salt, chenle who was sitting straighter than her - looks down aside to check her reaction and instantly let out a laugh at seeing the grimace on her face
hyein kept gulping down any saliva she has to make the saltiness subside as the male beside her silently popped a few into his mouth as pleased sighs escaped his mouth.
"i've never liked the salty ones"
knowing for a fact that what she said is true, chenle wordlessly nodded his head at her as he continued to eat the popcorn, "that's why we always eat the cheesy ones"
"but you don't like the cheesy ones"
chenle nods before giving a nonchalant shrug to her, "it doesn't matter as long as you like it"
feeling a smile crawling up her lips, hyein quickly brushes it away by looking aside as she tried to calm her heart from beating too fast. thankfully enough, the male was too preoccupied with the food to notice the faint blush appearing on her cheeks
clearing her throat to clear up the nervous bubble inside of her, she then continued the conversation,
"i'll just buy more later during grocery shopping,
"alone?"
confused by his reply, hyein turns her head to the side to see chenle already looking at her with a doubtful expression which made her even more puzzled.
deciding to think not much behind his expression, hyein shrugs as she sinks deeper to the mattress, "well, it's not like i have someone to go with?"
knowing exactly what would the male's response be, hyein immediately spoke again at the same time chenle just opened his mouth
"you can't even walk more than 3 minutes, chenle - thanks to this.."
