another sigh escaped hyein's lips as she looks down to the male in her hold before mustering all of her strength to carry his body upstairs because it'll be no good if she leaves him downstairs where his mother could see any moment

hyein spent an excruciating 30 minutes just carrying the male upstairs and has now finally arrived in his room. hyein panted after throwing the male on the bed as she bends down slightly - supporting her upperbody by placing her hands on her thighs

hyein rolls her eyes when she heard his whining before standing up straight to fix his position so he would lay comfortably on the bed. in the middle of fixing his position, hyein was suddenly pulled down to the bed which caused her to lay flat until she was pulled to an embrace

hyein tried to wiggle her way out of his hold but soon gave up because it was a bit too exhausting for her. hyein sighed as she turned her focus back on chenle who still had a flushed face with his eyes closed but what caught hyein's attention the most was,

the scowl on his face

hyein got one of her hands out to reach up to his face. she gently swiped the wrinkles on his forehead in attempting to calm the male down. thankfully, it worked - soon enough, chenle's face relaxed as he stirred and ended up with his face snuggling to hyein's neck

hyein tried to hold back her squeals as chenle was being too adorable. her angry thoughts quickly left her mind and she had no intention to question him at this moment since it would be useless, considering his drunken state

"hyein.." the said girl lightly hums out as her reply as she waited for him to continue, "i like you"

those simple three words made hyein came back to her frozen state as her rounded eyes bore into his closed ones. hearing this in real life made her heart fluttered a lot faster than reading it through text

"so much.. but.." hyein's brows were knitted together at seeing chenle's face distorting to a rather guilty expression so she moved her hands to his hair before gently stroking it. as she was calming the boy, she suddenly remembered mark's words from earlier,

"i hope you'll hear to what he has to say later. i'm sure he's too much of a chicken to say it when he's sober so might as well take a little advantage when he's drunk"

"i don't think i deserve you" hyein's fingers that were raking through his hair stopped at hearing those words leaving his mouth. even though chenle's face had a subtle guilty expression on it but his voice spoke a lot louder, he sounded dejected.

"i'm.. too much of a...  coward"

".. i hope you.. don't mind.. having a coward lovusnh yoiuh"

hyein's eyes were still bore into the male's closed ones, her hand delicately stroke his hair as a smile crept up her face at the adorable sight of chenle falling asleep in the middle of his confession (?)
