"h-hyein?"
hyein's ears perked up at the familiar voice, she raised her head as she approached the door. her hand was outstretch to grip the knob but somehow she grew too nervous to twist it so she pulled her hands back while taking a step back
"you can just leave it there.. chenle"
hyein felt the nerve worsen which made her move her leg anxiously as she kept bitting her bottom lip while waiting for chenle to answer her. as she waited, she heard a soft thud behind the door and hyein took it as a sign that chenle did what she asked,
"i placed it in front of the door... i'm leaving now"
"o-okay"
hyein facepalmed at the sound of her voice cracking,
'good thing i didn't raise my voice or else that'll be another embarrassment for me'
a sigh escaped her lips and when she heard the sound of her door being closed, she quickly opened the bathroom door and grab the item before closing the door again.
a sigh of relief left her lips as she stared at the newly bought pads, her eyes came across the brand which widened her eyes slightly. she felt amazed that chenle just bought her the exact same pads she usually buys
"i only told him to buy the ones with wings though, guess he's a genius" hyein murmurs as she still felt amazed while opening the bag and took a piece out for her to use
"i need to thank him later"

hyein walked out of the bathroom with a rather brighter mood than before, she happily walks to her bed and to her surprise - she found another 2 bags of the same pads on the bedside table.
"he's definitely a genius.. he bought extras" hyein's mouth gaped slightly as she felt the amazement towards chenle grew larger, she grabbed the two bags and put it inside the drawer for later use
hyein fell to her bed with a soft thud as her arms and legs were sprawled around. unconsciously, her mind started to rewind the moments that just happened - from the moment she panicked to find zero pads until to her getting help from chenle
even though hyein was still mad at chenle, she had to push away all of her ego to receive help from the only person available which of course was chenle. today's a sunday and on sundays, there's no maids and chenle's parents are always out of the house which leaves them being alone in the house
she thought chenle wouldn't help her since she's been ignoring him all day but to her surprise, chenle was all fine - he didn't ask too much and just helped her
and chenle's kindness made hyein guilty to the max. she felt guilty that she's been avoiding him and she knew that made chenle sad but the whole time she did it, she didn't care - well, before - she didn't care before
