chenle tilted his head as he was confused with mark's reply, "but.. she's not here.."
mark quickly tried to think of an idea and a second later, an idea crossed his mind. mark took a step forward as his hands reached forward to search for chenle's pockets to search for a certain item
when he finally found it, he pulled out chenle's phone and placed it in front of chenle's face as he said,

hyein's eyes went wide as saucers at seeing the last message he sent. those three words sent hyein to a frozen state as her eyes blinked repeatedly while reading the last message over and over again. her mouth gaped slightly as her mind couldn't function properly, she was in a total daze.
she contemplated on replying or not until she decided for him to say something else because she was sure, it was a mistake. hyein refused to believe the text was serious, the thought of chenle liking her was just too impossible for her
'he's probably joking'
'he'll probably send 'hahaha jk' any moment now'
'maybe it was a dare..'
but 5 minutes later, there was no continuation from chenle's last text. hyein pursed her lips into a thin line as a frown was created on her face with her brows knitted together. she decided to muster up her courage to text him back,
but her actions halted from a single notification appearing on the top of her screen. the frown never left her face as she squinted her eyes slightly at noticing it was an unknown number but the text was what caught her attention the most
chenle's drunk
hyein tilted her head slightly as she tried to process his text. it made sense to hyein, the weird text she and chenle had earlier and the fact chenle's drunk - made a lot of sense. but it would be a lie if hyein didn't admit she was slightly disappointed but that thought was quick to be brushed away and was replaced with wave of disbelief and rage mixed together
'he drank??'
two new notifs appeared on hyein's screen and she quickly opened their chatroom so she could reply properly
