"hey, something came in the mail" "what is it?"
the girl raised her upper body from her previous lying position as her eyes followed the walking male heading towards her,
a brown wrapped packaged was in his hand as he kept scanning the information plastered over it,
"it says it's for you though" "for me?"
the male nods his head before holding out the package for her as he took a seat on the bed, in front of her crossed legs
hyein took the package into her lap and scanned the sender's name as a squeal left her lips seconds after causing the male to flinch from the sudden noise,
his brows were furrowed as he curiously stared at her excited self, "what is it?"
his eyes focused on her hands skillfully unwrapping the three layers of packaging wrapper until she finally came across the extra layer, bubble wrap
out of instinct, hyein played around with the bubble wrap while silently singing a self-written song she just made up, making the male beside her to silently laugh at her
she then pulled out the item from the bubble wrap and held it to the front of his face with a content smile. his eyes went over the words in front of him as his lips moved to read it,
"the story of us?"
hyein nods her head enthusiastically as she brought the thick book into her lap, "i thought it'll be cute for us to make a book together, like a sketchbook.. about us"
chenle felt his stomach did a thousand summersaults at seeing his girlfriend's adorable behavior, he bit his bottom lip as he tried to hold back the wide smile that's inching to come out,
adoration was seen in his eyes that are focused on her as she constantly flips the book around, eyes sparkling at every detail she sees as her lips were shaped into little 'o's causing a chuckle to escape his lips
as chenle was busy being mesmerized by hyein, a sudden thought of them missing a few things came to his mind. he then stood up from the bed and went towards his study desk to find any kind of markers they can use before heading back towards the bed
in between his movements, hyein finally realized the empty space in front of her. she raised her head from the book to see chenle standing by the bed with his hands filled with different colors of markers
