Lucifer and I

Chapter 2 - the engagement

Lucifer and I have been dating for almost six months now and even when we are caught kissing or hugging we are always being laughed at we both got used to it in the end, one morning we were all sat down eating breakfast when Lucifer turns to me and said "so Charlie I've something that I've been meaning to ask you" just with that comment we all stop eating and look to Lucifer

"What's that" I replied a little sceptical

"Would you to join for a walk in the park after classes today" I was speechless that I nearly choked on my food, I could see out of the corner of my eye that Asmo was quietly giggling to himself and that's when I said

"Sure I'd love to where would you like to meet"

"Outside of the house of lamentation"

"Okay sure" I could see that the other were whispering to each other about the conversation but I tried not to notice, as I was continuing to eat I saw out of the corner of my eye that Lucifer was staring at me and as soon as I looked at him he turned away and blushed, I couldn't help but have a little giggle myself.

After breakfast we all made our way to class, however today class was a bit harder than usual and I just couldn't concentrate it so bad that I had to walk out of the class before it had even finished, once I was out of class I put my back against the wall, slid down to the fall and cried. I felt like a fool sitting on the floor crying like a baby and when I heard a voice "now what would a student be out of class and why would she be sat on the floor crying" look up to see who it was but all I could see was a hand and then the voice said "take my hand" so I took the hand and stood up and to my surprise it was Lucifer as soon as I was up off of the floor he pulled me into a hug and I cried,

"I'm so sorry Lucifer, I know I should be in class right now but I couldn't cope" Lucifer was stroking my hair making my heart ache like crazy and that when he said

"Couldn't cope with what my sweet Charlie" I could feel my cheeks getting hotter as those words when I looked up at him and said

"The lesson for some reason it was a lot harder to understand than normal and so I had to get out" he continued stroking my head and I started to feel a lot calmer I looked him in the eye and he did the same and at that very moment ours lips touched this time it was a lot deeper because I could feel his arm around my waist and I could tell that we were both blushing at the point.

Once we both had let go I immediately noticed that class had finished and now we were being watched by everyone and that's when I said the Lucifer "well I've got to get to class now, don't want to be late" and I ran off thinking of how foolish I was back there, but I couldn't worry about that now I had other classes to attend.

Once all of my classes were over I headed back to my room to drop my stuff off and I went off to meet Lucifer, when I got there he was already there and was talking to Asmo, Satan and Beel, I hid around the corner and listened to their conversation from a distance. Asmo spoke first

"Lucifer have you got the ring"

"Yes I have see" I thought to myself why does he need a ring for that's when Satan said

"When are you going to ask her"

"I was thinking by the river"

"Have you remember the picnic" Beel's comment made me chuckle a bit he is always thinking about food that's when Lucifer said

"We don't need a picnic after we get an answer we are coming back here for the surprise"

"Oh yes I forgot" Asmo looked at Lucifer and put his hand on his shoulder

"Lucifer are you nervous" Lucifer looked at Amos then his two other brothers and said

"Of course I am, I really love her no one had ever made me feel like this before and I want to spend the rest of my life with her.. I just hope I don't mess it up" wow this is the first time I've seen this side of Lucifer before and it's kind if cute I was cut off from thinking when I heard

"I would be to if I was in your shoes, but Charlie wouldn't care if you mess this up as she is that kind of person is she, so don't worry about it" Satan's words hung in my mind then it suddenly came to me, is Lucifer going to propose to me. All of this was whirling around my head when I decided to make my way towards them they stopped talking when they saw me coming down the stairs that when I said

"Sorry to keep you waiting, have you been waiting long" Lucifer smiled at me and said

"No I've only just got here myself so don't worry" you liar you were there for a long time before I showed up and that's when he said "shall we get going then" he held out his arm for me to hold on to my face was so hot with the blushing and I thought that my heart was going to come out and greet everyone, nevertheless we made our way to the park.

We finally reached the park and all of the flowers were in bloom they were beauty, the fragrance from each of the flowers was so relaxing that I could've stayed there all night, we spoke about many things Lucifer and I and before we knew it we were at the river the sun was beginning to set and it made the river turn a golden colour it was beautiful that's when we both stopped and looked out over the river "this is so beautiful out here Lucifer" I looked around at Lucifer to see him staring at me with the biggest smile on his face "Lucifer what's wrong" at the moment Lucifer grab both of my hands my face started to blush and that's when he said

"Charlie, my dear sweet Charlie, I cant tell you much I love you, you are the first thing I think about every day, I've had feelings for you every since you brought my family and I back together, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you... so I guess what I'm trying to is... Charlie will you marry me?" I was speechless here he was there in front of me down on one knee looking so handsome I could feel that my cheeks were getting wet were I was crying because I was happy then he said "Charlie why are you crying"

"I'm very happy because no one has ever treated me the same way you do, I'm just so happy that I met you"

"So what's your answer"

"YES of course I will" I ran up to him and gave him a hug and he kissed me deep again just like at school today after that we made our way back home arm in arm before we got home we stopped off at a flower shop Lucifer told me to wait outside while he went in, when he came out he had the most beautiful bouquet of flowers just for me I couldn't help but smile and blush once we reach home Lucifer opened the door and it was pitch black that's when I said "why is it so dark, has everyone gone to bed"

Just at the moment the lights flick on and everyone jumped out and surprised us I screamed and jumped into Lucifer's arms that's when I looked at Lucifer giggled then jumped out of his arms that's when Asmo came running over to me and said "so what was your answer Charlie" I went red in the face and nodded my head Asmo turned to his other brothers and screamed "SHE SAID YES" everyone was so happy for Lucifer and I that at the party I didn't get to spend anytime with each other I was swept away by everyone congratulating me, I kept looking over at Lucifer who was laughing at everything his brothers were saying I could see that he really did love me and I loved him.

Coming up for the end of the party I was sat on the sofa thinking about the day when a glass of champagne was handed to me by my amazing fiance that's when our alone was interrupted again by the remaining six brothers but before they could say anything Lucifer says "please leave I would like so time alone with my fiance" and with that they left so now it was just Lucifer and I left, Lucifer raised his glass to me and said "here's to us"

"To us" after we drank our champagne and spoke about the memories we have and the new ones that we are going to make together, we spoke until very late into the night, we made our way up to bed, soon I would be sharing a room with Lucifer and I cant wait for that day to come.
