Lucifer and I

Chapter 7 - month 5

I'm now five months pregnant and it has been really hard for me to study in class I've had to miss so many lesson where I'm either got to the loo, hungry or throwing up everywhere at the slightest of smells.

One morning I was about to put my uniform on for school when I realized that I couldn't do it up like I normally would and I stood in the middle of the room trying to fit into my uniform when Lucifer came out of the bathroom and said "Charlie why arent you dressed yet" I looked at him and said

"I know I cant get into my school uniform so I'm borrowing a pair of trousers from you and a shirt from you so I can get dressed" he didnt say anything he just watched me do it with no other questions, we made our way down to breakfast and I was just coming back from picking up some tea when I dropped the mug and it smashed on the floor and I touched my stomach that's when they all looked at me and Lucifer came running over saying

"What's the matter is something wrong" I laughed and replied

"No nothing's wrong I felt the baby move for the first time" Lucifer smiled and placed his hand on my stomach to feel the baby kick he looked at me and it was almost as if he was going to cry.

I was coming back to my chair when Mammon pulled it for me to sit in it, now ever since I became pregnant he has been very protective over me and I didnt mind it at first but now it was starting to annoy me so I said "Mammon it's great that you're looking out for me but it starting to get on my nerves now" he replied

"But I need to protect you"

"Mammon look, I'm a hormonal, pregnant woman do you really think anyone is going to attack me when I broke the door of that classroom all because someone made fun of my brother" he looked at me and Satan said

"She does have a point Mammon" after that conversation Amos said

"Charlie are you busy today"

"I have studying to do why"

"Well I was wondering if I could pamper you today"

"But I've got studying to do" Levi said

"You need to relax remember stress isnt good for the baby"

"Alright, alright then Amos I'd love for you to pamper me, but I have to warn you, you may have to help me" and so it was settled that I was going to have a relaxing day with my brother-in-law Amos.

After breakfast Amos guided me to his room and I felt the baby move again I looked at Amos and I knew what to feel the baby move so I said "do you want feel the baby move Amos" he nodded his head so I continued "give me you hand then" hd gave me his hand and I placed it on the spot where the baby had moved, when the baby moved again he was so happy and that made me happy to Amos said

"Right then let's put you on the bed and I'll start to massage your feet" and with that he touched my feet and started to massage them I sank into the pillow, it was heaven I loved it, next he painted my toes while he was doing so he said "do you know what your having Charlie"

"No I dont what do you think Amos" he looked up and said

"Me personally i think your going to have a girl"

"Really"

"Yes I do"

"Well then I'll be hoping for a girl then too" we continue my pampering all day when i head back to my room, no one was in there I was standing there on my when I remember that babies can hear so I touched my stomach and said "I cant wait to meet you little you, you are going to have an amazing daddy, and six wonderful uncles that'll take good care of you I'm sure" I rub my stomach and continue "you know what it's just me and you in our room and I think you deserve a little treat what do you say we crack open one of mummies chocolate bars" I take a bar of chocolate and eat it and it was so good then with out thinking I start to sing to my baby a song that my own mother sung to me

"somewhere over the rainbow, way up high there a land that I've heard of once in a lullaby, somewhere over the rainbow, blue birds fly, birds fly over the rainbow why then oh why can't I" else where in the house the remaining brothers come to and all they can hear is my voice echoing around the house that's when Belphie said

"What is that amazing" Levi looked around

"More like who is singing that beautiful song" beel said

"Hearing this beautiful sound I'm suddenly not hungry anymore" intrigued by the sound Satan said

"Let's go and find where this sound is coming from" Lucifer smiled and said

"Okay so we know its coming from upstairs so let's go up there" they all go upstairs to find Amos walk towards them

"Oh hello my fellow brothers, were you charmed by the voice too" Luicfer said

"Yes we were coming to so where it was coming from" Amos smiled and said

"That sound is coming from your wife Lucifer, she is singing to the baby" they all look at each other and go to Lucifer's bedroom and push the door open and watched me sing to the baby

"Some day I'll wish upon a star and wake where the clouds are far behind me, where troubles melt like lemon drops away above the chimney tops that's where you'll find me, somewhere over the rainbow blue birds fly, birds fly over oh why cant I, if happy little blue birds fly beyond the rainbow why oh why can't I" I finish the song and realise that all of them are watching my with mouths wide I blush and Lucifer runs over to me and said

"I never knew you could sing like that" I blush and say

"I dont sing in front of people" Amos said

"But why you have an amazing voice" I looked at him and say

"Because I... I was bullied at school for having a voice so pure and my music teacher put it that I stopped" Belphie said pit and arm on me

"Well they are wrong Charlie you sound never hid behind a talent such as yours" I smile and Levi said

"So what was that song you just sang"

"Oh the song is called somewhere over the rainbow from wizard of OZ it's a musical a good classic" Beel said

"Why did you sing it Charlie"

"My mother sang it to me when I couldn't sleep and then sang it when she was pregnant with my sister and I knew that babies can hear so I thought that I'd relax the baby with the song" Satan said

"Well it's a beautiful song with such a good meaning" I was so touched by what they said that though to myself that maybe I should start singing more in front of people to gain my confidence back.
