Chapter 30 - I Don't Believe You

Still Lucifer's P.O.V

I'd already contacted the rest of my brothers to tell them to come home as I needed to tell them what had happened to Charlie, when I reach the sitting room the rest of my brother and my children are waiting for me Belphie is the first to speak he says

"Lucifer whats wrong" I'm standing at the fireplace looking at the family picture that was taken the day that the twins were born, i turn around and said

"Something happened today" I noticed that Lilith was looking around and then she said

"father where's mother" i looked at her and at the twins then my brothers and continued

"There was an accident at school involving her" Oliver and Helena looked at each other and they had tears in there eyes Oliver said

"What happened to mumma papa" I sat down and patted my lap for both of them to sit on it i held them close to my chest and continued as I looked at my brothers

"She collapsed at school and hit her head which caused it to bleed she is at the hospital now with Satan" all of my brothers were in shock the twins were crying as I rubbed there backs, on the other hand Lilith was sat in silence not looking at anything and not saying anything thing Helena looked up at me and said

"Wi-will s-she die papa" i held her closer to my chest as she and her brother cried Lilith was still silent I noticed that Beel went over to her and went to put his hand on her but she moved away everyone seemed to notice her actions and looked towards her before I could say anything Oliver said

"Ye-yeah w-will s-she die papa" i replied

"Of course she won't" i heard Lilith shift her body weight i looked up and she looked at me dead in the eyes and said

"I don't believe you" the twins removed themselves from my lap and went with Barbatos to get some cookies i replied

"What don't you believe Lilith"

"I don't believe you just said that to them" I could see that her anger was growing before I could say anything she said "why didn't you just tell them the truth that you don't know whether mother is going to die or not" i couldn't believe what she had just said I replied

"I couldn't tell two 6 year old's that" she was getting very angry and i could see her dark aura around her She said

"So you'd rather tell a lie to a child rather than tell them the truth" i noticed that her fingers started to twitch which we all knew what that meant Belphie made his way over to her and said

"Lilith, you need to calm down, you're losing control" she turned towards him and turned into her demon form I hate to admit this because of my pride but her demon form scared me a tiny bit, Mammon said

"Whoa, whoa, Lilith calm down it was only a little lie there's no harm in that" why would you say that Mammon.

Lilith's P.O.V

I turned towards my uncle Mammon with my eyes glowing I walked up to him and pushed him against the walk with my hand on his chest and said through gritted teeth "are you forgetting who I am uncle Mammon"

"I-I know-" i cut him off

"Im the Avatar of Truth do you know what that means" i put more weight on his shoulders and ignoring everyone's cries

"Y-you hate-" again I cut him off again and screamed

"I HATE PEOPLE WHO LIE" I had raised my hand to hit him but just as I was about to I heard

"LILITH, STOP RIGHT NOW" I tured around and saw my father standing behind me in his demonic form. I put my hand down i started to cry and ran out of the room

Lucifer's P.O.V

I watched Lilith run away crying "Lilith wait" I went to go after her when I felt a hand on my shoulder i turned around to Belphie he said

"Let her go, I'll go talk to her when she has calmed down a bit" i nodded my head and waited for a call from Satan to have any sort of update on Charlie.

Lilith's P.O.V

I ignored my father's cries as I ran out of the sitting room and out of the house, towards the one spot that I needed to be right now, the balcony the place my mother and I spent numerous hours just looking up at the sky talking.

Once I reached it I just sobbed I miss my mother, I need her right now but she is in hospital i can't have her now when I need her the most I grabbed the blanket that she always uses and it smelt like her, i looked up at the sky and said "if you can hear me mother, please, please get better don't leave us please we need you... I-I need you please" i put my head in my knees and cried again until I could cry anymore.

About an hour later I heard someone come on to the balcony and said "I knew you'd be up here Lilith" i looked up and noticed that it was my uncle Belphie "come here you" he opened up his arms for me to hug them and i just crawled into them and cried. He began to stroke my hair to try And calm me down he said "it's okay Lilith let it all out" i replied

"I-i'm sorry u-uncle B-Belphie" i cried harder as he held me close to his chest, he replied in a calm voice

"Sssh, you have nothing to be sorry about" i pull away from him and i stand up and walk to the railing where I look out over Devildom and replied

"But I do, I lost control, if it hadn't of been for father then I would've seriously hurt uncle Mammon" i started to cry and again and uncle Belphie pulled me into another hug and said

"If Mammon hadn't of said what he did then you wouldn't have gone to hurt him"

"If I kept my mouth shut then this wouldn't of happened" I looked up at uncle and said "do you think father will forgive me to what I said and how I acted towards him"

"Of course he will, he knows that your upset about your mother"

"Im just so worried about her I-I d-don't want her to die" i cried even harder and he replied

"Look Lilith, your mother is a stronger woman she won't die I promise" I don't say anything because I know that he is telling the truth and I just stand there while he comforts me with he warm hugs.
