"Why not?"
"Because I'm going to die"

Astrid is not your typical Ravenclaw. She doesn't study, she isn't smart and she has gotten stuck out of the Common room way too many time...

*Flashbacks* "You fancy him, don't you?" Dana asked Astrid as they walked through hogsmeade. "George is just a friend" Astrid rolled her eyes at the girl. "I never said G's name!" Dana laughed at the girl beside her who was completely red. They walked through the doors of the Three Broomsticks, a pub they had found their liking to. "Two butterbeers please" Astrid said to Madam Rosmerta. Dana and Astrid sat together, sipping their warm butterbeer when Astrid saw the twins walk in, laughing and joking around with Lee Jordan. Fred and Lee went to find a spot in the pub as George ordered his butterbeers. He was waiting for Madam Rosmerta to fill the glasses when his eyes fell on Astrid's who was already looking at him. He waved at her and smiled. Astrid chuckled as she waved back at him. "Are you sure you don't want him to be sitting here instead of me?" Dana wiggled her eyebrows. "He's with Lee and Fred anyways, we have a pact. I don't interfere with his friends and they set aside time to hangout with me" Astrid shrugged.
Third year Astrid, George and Fred climbed up from the Honeydukes cellar. "You three! I don't know what I'm going to do with you!" Mr. Flume said. "We aren't missing any class, it's Saturday, just not a hogsmeade weekend" Astrid said as she picked out a few licorice wands. "It's on me!" Flume said giving her the money back. The three students thanked the old man as they walked out of the shop. They walked into Zonkos looking for new prank products and other things. "Fred and I will open a Joke shop like this one, one day" George told Astrid as he paid for his buys. "Yeah. We have so many ideas!" Fred said excitedly. "Will I get anything for free?" Astrid asked with a smirk. "Of course! You can be the face of our shop! We will carve your name on every product and you are free to take anything from our joke shop" George said with dramatic effect. Astrid rolled her eyes as Fred laughed.
Astrid ran, trying to get to class in time when she bumped into someone. That someone happened to be George Weasley. "Woah! What's the rush?" He asked the girl. "Late for class! I'll see you after dinner!" Astrid grabbed her things that had fallen down. "You could just skip it you know...I'm going to the quidditch pitch, care to join me?" He asked her Astrid thought about it for a few seconds. "I'm already failing this class, what's one hour going to do anyways!" "Now that's the Astrid I know!" George held out his elbow for her as she linked her arm in his. "You have incredibly long legs! Slow down Georgie!" The girl squealed as George practically dragged her through the halls.
The two friends stood in the centre of the pitch with brooms in one hand and their bats in another. "Race you to the commentary box!" George immediately sat on his broom as he flew upwards. Astrid followed closely behind, almost bumping into his broomstick. The two passed the bludger around for sometime before racing to chase the snitch. "I think you make a great seeker!" George told her as Astrid threw her arms up in victory with the snitch in one hand. "I prefer beater. I get to hit people" She admitted. George laughed at her comment as he nodded in agreement. "So you're telling me that you liking the beater position has nothing to do with that fact that you find the beater playing number 6 on the Gryffindor team rather attractive" "I'll admit it is the gryffindor beater, but number 5!" Astrid said referring to Fred. George pretended to be offended and dramatically flicked a 'tear' off of his face.
Astrid sat beside Fred Weasley in their third year, taking about how much he fancied Angelina Johnson. Fred completely denying the fact. "Stop ganging up on me!" He told Dana and Astrid who were teasing him. George wasn't helping him either. He just sat there laughing at his brother's misery. "Okay okay! I'll ask Angelina to the next hogsmeade trip" Fred started. "But?" George asked. He knew a condition was coming. "You have to ask Astrid first!" George went a shade darker than his hair. He slapped Fred's shoulder not meeting Astrid's eyes. Astrid looked down at the table, covering her face. "Do you want to? A proper date?" George asked, his face still slightly pink. "She says yes!" Dana squealed excitedly as she high-fived Fred Weasley. "I hate you both!" Astrid said to them.
It was 4th year. Fred and George Weasley stood at the entrance of the slytherin common room, looking up at Astrid. She was setting up a bucket of magic pink dye, charming it to empty itself out everytime someone walked in or out of the doors. The three giggled excitedly. "All done" Astrid said, descending herself down from the broom. "We deserve a treat!" She said following Fred and George into the kitchens. About mid-way on their way to the kitchens, The trio was stopped by McGonagall. "You three can't be outside with the petrifications!" She scolded. "We're alright, Minnie-" "-Don't Fret" "We're just getting ourselves a midnight snack" McGonagall sighed before asking the three to follow her. She dropped Fred and George off to their common room first after taking Astrid to the Ravenclaw one. "This isn't the first time a pair of red haired twins have spoiled a stonewall. I must say you're much better than your father, though" She told her. "My father was a part of all the pranking?" "Yes! With the Prewett Twins of course! When Mr. and Mr. Weasley came in, we were overjoyed to see more well behaved boys like Bill, Charlie and Percy but Merlin knows we were wrong!" That was the first time Astrid had ever heard Minerva McGonagall Chuckle. Once they reached the knocker, the Professor warned the girl, "Your mother has been fretting about you, Ms. Stonewall. She wants to take you into hiding, you might want to stay out of trouble if you want to return to Hogwarts next year"
When Astrid's mother found out that Ginny Weasley has opened the Chamber of Secrets, She immediately forced the girl to go into hiding. The mother was terrified for her daughter's possible death. "We can't keep any connections with the Weasleys! Ginny opened the chamber and they have been close with Harry Potter! They can't know you!" Alyssa was being unreasonable but Astrid was only 14 and terrified of her possible death. She didn't have a choice but to listen to her mother. "I'm sorry George, Fred...I have to do this." Fred opened his mouth to argue with her but nothing came out. She stood there, outside Dumbledore's office, pleading them to forgive her. "So we won't remember you at all?" George questioned "No...it's best that way. I don't think I will be returning to Hogwarts.." "But why?" Fred asked. "You don't need to know that.." Astrid hugged Charlie, Percy, Fred and Ron one last time before they all were obliviated of any memories with her , one after the other. She cupped George's face into her hands and pulled him down into a short kiss, his ears still going pink. And with that, George Weasley was the last one to be obliviated.
Astrid fought with her mother constantly, pleading her to go back, meet her friends, write to people but she couldn't. Astrid became a nobody to people who had heard of her. It was the middle of fifth year did she actually return. Her mother had reminded her many times, "Don't meet the Weasleys. They won't remember you" "But why can't I remind them?" "The guilt will eat you up alive."
The water blackened, the memory was over. Neither Fred, nor George said anything for a few minutes. "We should be heading back." Astrid told them quietly. The girl was going crazy. Their expressions were completely unreadable and they didn't say anything. The three walked to the front of the Gryffindor common room. That was the first time Fred had spoken since the past ten minutes. "Mimbulus Mimbeltonia" Astrid didn't know if she felt relief or stress when Fred only said the password. She wanted to know what was going on in their heads and what they were thinking but she also didn't want them to speak those awful words to her. The two walked into the Gryffindor common room with even glancing back at the girl as the door slammed in front of her.
