*The next day* (Thursday)

I was petting my kitten and then my phone went off, and I knew that it was mine because my favorite song plays whenever someone calls me.

I looked at it and it said 'Tom'

I answered it and I said "Hello?"

And Tom responded with a "Hi, I think I know where we should go for our little date tomorrow."

I yawned.

"Where's that?"

"At the park."

The park?

"You sure?" I asked.

"Yes of course."

I smiled lightly.

"Sounds fun, which park?" I said.

"The Yosemite park? If of course that's okay with you."

I smiled, then I frowned.

That's the park that Jake would take me to.

"Uhm." I said, not really knowing what to say.

"You alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." I say as I scratch behind Loki's ear.

I couldn't see him but I bet that he looked worried.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Nothing it's just, my ex used to take me there all the time and I don't know how to respond to that."

"We can go somewhere else if you like."

"What did you have in mind?" I asked.

"The beach? Does that sound good?"

I smiled "Sounds great."

*Flashback*

We were running through the park, acting like little children, spraying each other with water guns, laughing loudly.

Then Jake sprayed me with his water gun and I squealed at the cold water hitting my chest.

Then I sprayed him, and I got him in the neck.

Then after that, I ran out of water.

I looked at Jake and I gulped, and I ran away from him as he was shooting me with water.

After we both ran out of water we were soaked, and laughing like idiots.

*End*

I took in a deep breath and I felt a tear go down my face.

"What time?" I asked as I set Loki off to the side, and then he laid down, curling up into a circle.

"Around 2:30, does that sound good?"

"Yeah." I wipe the tear away.

"What beach?" I asked.

He chuckled "The Carmel beach."

I smiled a little bit.

"Sounds good." I said.

"Great, see you then." He said.

"Bye." I said.

"Buh-Bye." He said.

I hang up and I set my phone down, immediately breaking down in tears.
