Day of the Titan Invasion

Today was the day, the day the Warriors began their attack on the Walls, and while they were young, he knew the four that were carrying out the attack, Marcel, Annie, Bertholdt and Reiner, but he had confidence that they'd be able to destroy the gates to Shiganshina and Wall Maria and be able to blend in with all the refugees that would swarm to Wall Rose.

While he hadn't been able to be there personally to make sure they were successful, there had been a lot of horses and activity passing through the main roads to each of the districts, so he knew it was at least happening even if not successful, he'd do it himself if he really had to.

However, he had more important business to attend to, much more important than breaking the walls at this point. He had ditched training in the morning and had been waiting in Orvud for most of the day, and in late afternoon when the attack should be happening, he departed north east for the chapel he had learned of.

The one thing he could complain about today was the weather, it was super hot in the afternoon, especially with very little shadows in the open ground in Wall Rose, so for most of the day he rode his horse without his hoodie, because it was unbearable at times, so he just decided to take it off.

That did leave him a lot more visible to anyone he passed, especially the soldiers who gave him a second glance after seeing him with his military boots and pants on while he was on the main road, but he was eventually able to make it to the chapel around dusk, and he took cover within the nearby forest with a great view of the front of the church, and all he had to do was wait.

He had been waiting several hours by this point, and his patience was wearing thin now, he would not be happy if he had been lied to, but he couldn't do anything about it, that was the only negative about killing Inocencio and his family, because he couldn't go back and talk to him again, and he was beginning to think that he had royally fucked it up before the invasion had even started.

That was until he heard the sound of a horse drawn cart getting closer and closer, so he stepped behind a tree, peeking around it and watching intently, but when it stopped, it wasn't a carriage like he expected, it was just a cart, and there was only one person in it.

It was a man to be exact, relatively tall, dark hair, glasses and dressed somewhat smartly, but he looked distressed and hurried, he was definitely not part of the Reiss family.

Reaching down into his boot, he pulled out his pistol and pulled back the hammer, cocking it as he watched him run towards the chapel and enter through the front door, the first he had seen do so.

Exiting the treeline, Y/N approached the chapel, he took his position at the door, waited to see if he could hear anything, and when he couldn't, he slowly opened the door, pistol pointed forwards as he cleared his corners, entering silently before proceeding further into the chapel.

As he approached the aisle with the pews in the main body of the chapel, instantly he took notice of the open trap door in the open, but he cleared the rest of the room before looking down the ladder, hearing faint shouting coming from below.

He got two steps down the ladder before the building shook violently once, and then a second time in quick succession, knocking him off the ladder and landing with a heavy thud, probably breaking his left wrist with the way he landed and the searing pain, but it was gone by the time he got back to his feet and he started running.

He burst through another set of doors and was greeted by a huge crystal cave, supported by many crystal beams, but the main problem was the two Titan's fighting, one he thought to be the Founding Titan, and another he presumed to be the Attack Titan, the one that Marley lost and was never seen after the great Titan war.
