Hello readers! Name was a suggestion from VeryHyperFerret! Basically here is who is a pirate and who is a merman/mermaid, and appearances, and for the pirates, ranks. Also some more info. (Ye may wanna Google most of the Pirate Ranks lol).

Bdubs:

Basically looks like normal Bdubs, with his red headband

Normal Cub facewise, white trench coat, navy shirt, black pants, grey boots

Boatswain

Half orc; hence green skin and incredible height (yes, this is a fantasy AU and orcs exist in it), left eyepatch, right hook, tattered white trench coat, tattered navy pants, barefoot because crocs don't exist yet

Captain (that might be weird, like why isn't X Captain, but X is Quartermaster so eh)

Cod Merman (I know what all of you are going to say, and I both support and welcome it)

Top half, he looks like normal Grian, bottom half, he has cod-colored fish scales and three fins on the back; two on the front and one on the end (like an actual cod fish. Google it! :D)

I don't know, Hypno is a random pirate and I won't really be using him :/

Jellyfish Merman

Top half he looks like Jevin, bottom half he has a load of Jevin-colored stinger tentacle things

Normal Impulse, but his shirt has yellow stripes instead of a creeper face and he has grey pants

Normal Iskall, but he has a eyepatch instead of his robo eye

Rosy Barb Mermaid (Look it up: It's a pretty looking cold water fish!)

Top half is normal Stress, bottom half is the bottom half of a Rosy Barb

Redfish Merman

Top half is normal Tango, no horns or wings, and obviously no shirt because Mermen don't wear shirts, bottom half is just a red fish tail with white scales on the front

Koi Merman (I saw a pretty drawing of him as a Koi Merman in a different book)

Top half is Wels, with long blonde hair in a ponytail, bottom half is a koi fish's bottom half

Inactive hermits are dead: Biffa and Jess were pirates, Py was a merman.

Also some info: I didn't use all the pirate rankings, because that is just confusing, of COURSE they still have their accents and speak pirate (lol), and for the merfolk, they do not have a civilization, they just wander around the ocean and befriend the various sea creatures, possibly another merfolk, rarely said to merfolk will mate. Merfolk also, upon seeing sea-faring humans, will climb onto a rock or island and sing like a siren, drawing the person to leap overboard an swim towards the mer, and likely drowning in the process. Most merfolk do this for either sport, or for a few, because they find the human attractive. Cya for now, guys!
