Sonic: *zooming into the woods, and trips over Cream*

Cream: Hello, Mr. Sonic! Me and Tails were gonna find the crawly guy!

Sonic: You guys can't!

Tails: Why?

Sonic: Dude! He's called the Stone Crawler! He turns animals into stone!!!!

Tails: Yeah, right!

Sonic: But Knuck-

Tails: I talked to Knuckles a few hours ago, he's fine!!

Sonic: Tails! You have to-

Tails: No! Come on, Cream!

Cream: Maybe Mr. Sonic is right, Tails... Maybe this isn't a good idea...

Tails: Well, he's not here, is h-

???: Hello.... Tails...

Tails: U-uhh.........

The Stone Crawler: How are my little kiddies?

Sonic: You stay away from them!

The Stone Crawler: Yum! a hedgehog!

Tails and Cream: *hides behind Sonic*

The Stone Crawler: Maybe you three will be as fun as your echidna friend!

Tails: W-what did you do to Knuckles?!

The Stone Crawler: He put up quite a fight! But, in the end, he got stoned like the rest of them!

Tails: I-I-

*Tails and Cream start screaming and running

Tails: Hurry, Crea- WOAH

*Tails and Cream trip over Knuckles' petrified body, they look at him and scream, they run again

Cream: MOM! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Tails: Sonic! I-

Sonic: KIDS! BEHIND. ME. NOW!!!

*Tails and Cream hide behind Sonic

Sonic: WHO. DO. YOU. THINK. YOU. ARE?! FREEZING PEOPLE?!

The Stone Crawler: I am the Stone Crawler. I freeze a lot of people!

Sonic: WELL! YOU GO UNFREEZE EVERYONE YOU HAVE HURT, INCLUDING MY FRIEND, KNUCKLES! AND I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU HERE AGAIN!

The Stone Crawler: Uhh... nah

Sonic: Nope. But they will.

*The police, and Vanessa jump on him

Vanessa: You kids alright?

Sonic: They are, don't worry...

The Stone Crawler: I... Uhh... *faints, everyone petrified is now unfrozen*

Tails: Thank you, Sonic... *hugs him* I'm sorry I went out...

Sonic: It's okay...

Cream: And I'm sorry, too, Mommy!

Vanessa: It's okay, sweetie! Just never do it again...

Sonic: Looks like everything is back to normal...

Knuckles: *walks to them, dizzy as flip* Ugh... What happened? I have a terrible headache.....

*Later

Knuckles: *sipping on some root beer* I can't believe that happened!

Sonic: *drinking coffee* Yeah... It was insane...

Knuckles:  Well, you guys did save me, so I guess I owe you three a favor...

Sonic: Meh, it's alright...

Knuckles: Well... I guess I'm gonna head back to Angel Island, the Master Emerald is still there... but you never know where Eggman will strike-

Eggman: *suddenly flies into the middle of the table, leaving the two surprised* I'M HERE TOO!!!!!!!
