Chapter 10

Maria's POV
I got back into doms car with him as we drove back to the warehouse. We got on perfectly well and could talk to eachother when there were other people around but it was more awkward when it was just the two of us. There was no one to push the conversation on.

"Does Roman not bother you" Dom asked

"Nah, he's just playing. I can handle myself anyways" I laughed

"You were right about Letty before. Could you imagine if she had met Roman" Dom said amused

"Now that would be something I would love to see"I nodded

"I miss her every day" he sighed

"I know you do" I said

Not too long after that we pulled back into the warehouse and gathered around the table where we could discuss the new plan.

"The beauty of public offices?" Mia said rolling a blueprint out on the table

"Public records"I finished

"Exactly"she nodded

"This is where he'll be keeping the money" Brian said pointing to the map "the vault in the evidence room"

"Where better to keep millions of dollars than a huge fucking vault surrounded by pigs" I said scarcastically

"Um" Tej said confused "uh, yeah can I get everyone's attention over here, for a second? We are talking about breaking into a po-lice station"

"Yes Tej a po-lice station, good to know you catch on quick"I said patting him on the head.

"Man she patting you like a dawg" Roman laughed

"Is anyone listening to these words? Anyone? Popos? Five-O. One time. Pigs. People we don't like." Tej finished

"You know police stations are designed to keep people in, not out" Han added.

"That's why it's a stealth mission" Brian explained "we'll be in and out before they even knew we were there"

"Well were gonna need to get eyes in there. At least to find out the make and model of the vault." Dom said

"So the vault. . . And then, so. . . It's crazy" Roman muttered "who's supposed to do all this?"

The team shared looks amongst eachother they all turned to look at Roman.

"Who better than the biggest bullshitter in the world" I shrugged laughing

"Man you make some good comments Maria" Tej laughed

"At least she ain't petting me like a dog" Roman shot back

"At least I don't have a forehead that can be seen from space" Tej laughed

"Man that's gotta hurt" Gisele laughed

"Okay, so Rome can you do this?"Brian asked

"Why me?" He asked

"Cause you have the biggest mouth"Brian said

"That's for damn sure" Tej said giving me a fist bump

"What are ya'll anti Roman group or something" he said turning to me and Tej

"That's probably why she keeps rejecting you" Tego added

"Okay okay I'll do it but I get to take her with me" Roman said pointing at me "I'll show her how good this can be"

"Her has a name" I said picking up my car keys from the table.
