After I put on some cloths I joined everyone else in the main room of the building. The atmosphere felt very tense. I walked over to Chrollo and sat there close to him. I still wasn't completely comfortable with everyone else.

Chrollo wrapped his arm around me, so I did the same to him. I rested my head on his chest. This made me feel very safe and secure.

"What should we do about Omokage?" Machi spoke up after a few moments of silence.

"We don't even know what he wants." Feitan said.

"Yes we do," Chrollo spoke, "he wants to take everything from me. Like I did to him, and that means taking y/n from me. I'm not gonna let that happen though."

"What are you planning to do boss?" Nobunaga asked. Chrollo stood up from where he sat. Forcing me to changed my seating position.

"Y/n and I are gonna leave."

That sentence seemed to make everyone even more on edge. I felt a shiver go down my spine.

"Hey boss are you sure that's a good idea?" Phinks asked.

"Yes I'm sure."

"Where will you two go?" Pakunoda asked.

"I'm not sure yet. Somewhere remote and far away. Maybe out in the country somewhere." No one said anything after that for a minute, then Machi grabbed Chrollo's arm and dragged him into the hall.

Chrollo's pov

I was confused to why Machi pulled me away from the group. I assumed she had something important to discuss with me.

"Listen Chrollo, don't you think your making things a lot harder for everyone?" She asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Well wouldn't it be easier to just forget about y/n. She'd be safer if she wasn't with you, and besides. You could find someone a lot better."

For a few seconds I didn't react, but then rage took over my body, controlling my body and actions. I grabbed Machi by the throat and slammed her body hard against the wall.

"Machi, do you have a death wish?" I asked almost with a laugh.

"N-no I j-just-" I cute her off.

"Y/n means everything to me, and if I remember correctly I mean everything to her as well. She is perfect, there is no one better. No one is gonna take her away from me, especially not you!" I took my hand from her neck, causing her to drop to the floor coughing.

I rushed out to the main room and grabbed y/n's hand. I rushed off towards our room.

"Chrollo what happened?" Y/n asked.

"Don't worry about it. Machi was just being a bitch. I took care of it. Cmon let's go pack."

Your pov

A few hours later I was wondering around looking for Chrollo. At some point he slipped away without me noticing. Walking through the building gave me major creeps. As I walked I noticed that I didn't see anyone else either. Eventually I walked into a room and found Shizuku.

"Hey Shizuku have you seen Chrollo?"

"Hm I think he might have went to the roof." She answered.

"Oh thank you!"

I walked out of the room to head to the roof. It took me awhile, but eventually I found the ladder that led there. Once I reached the roof I saw Chrollo, sitting by the edge. I walked up and sat next to him.

"What ya doing?" I asked trying to sound energetic. He sighed and wrapped his arm around me again.

"I was just thinking." He said.

"About what?"

"About how much easier your life would be if I never saw you that day. I've ruined everything for you."

Those words made me want to cry. Although they were true, that was the last thing I wanted. I kissed Chrollo on the cheek.

"Chrollo, you seeing me that day was the best thing to ever happen to me. I wouldn't wish for anything to be different. We're gonna take down Omokage together. No matter what."

That put a smile on Chrollo's face. He kissed my forehead and pulled me into a hug.

"How did I get so lucky to have you?" He asked. That made me smile.

"Well lets just hope that luck doesn't run out. We're gonna need it." This time Chrollo laughed. We sat out on the roof most of the night. Just watching the stars and enjoying each other's company.
