I wasn't sure how long we'd been driving. A few hours maybe. We drove through a few city's. Then we were on a long stretch of road for a very long time. There wasn't much around us, mostly trees. I didn't see many cars after we left the city. It all felt very...calm.

I sat in the passenger seat while Chrollo drove the, probably stolen, car. He had one hand on the wheel, and the other was entwined with mine. Not many words were exchanged between the two of us during the ride. Chrollo also had the radio off, so it was silent for most of the ride.

That feeling brought me back to when I was a kid. I remember sitting in the back seat, looking out the window. I would zone out everything around me. I felt as if I was in my own world. When I looked out the window of the car, I would watch the scenery around me come and go as the car zoom pasted it. I would get so lost in thought I wouldn't here my parents saying my name from the front seat.

This felt very similar to those times, but now I had different things in my mind. I tried my best to hind my fear from Chrollo, but I felt each day I was becoming more and more scared. Omokage is powerful. That much I already knew. Every time I thought about him I felt sick.

A shiver ran down my spine. I tried to hind it, but it went through my whole body, including my hand. Chrollo felt the shift in my movement.

"Y/n are you alright?" He asked. After he asked that he glanced over to me. His eyes grew wide. He quickly pulled the car over and it came to a stop.

"Dear your as pale as a ghosts, and now you're shaking uncontrollably! What's the matter?"

A single tear fell down my cheek. I couldn't bring myself to look him in the eyes.

"I'm scared Chrollo. I know you can protect me, but I still feel scared. Omokage keeps coming back to my mind. His sinister voice, his evil laugh, his dark eyes, they won't leave my head." I cried out. I felt warm arms embrace me. I buried my face in Chrollo's chest.

"It's okay y/n. I'm scared to, but I'm gonna to do whatever I have to to keep you safe. I won't let him take you from me." Hearing Chrollo's voice always helps calm me. There's something about it that's so safe and reassuring.

"Now let's keep on going. We're almost there."

Chrollo began driving again. Soon after he took a turn off the main road. This road was a dirt road, and it was much more bumpy. It was getting dark by now. With all the trees around it was hard to see much of anything really.

Again I watched out the window, getting lost in my head. This time it wasn't scary thoughts. This scenery brings me back yet again to when I was young. My family is all about the outdoors. Almost every weekend in the summers we were out in the forest camping. I always loved the look of the trees at night. One of nature's finest beauty's.

Before long the car came to a stop. I looked over to Chrollo's window to see a small cabin. It seemed pretty new, but also it was obvious it had been here for a little while.

"Cmon lets go inside." Chrollo said. We both got out of the car and grabbed our belongings. We both didn't bring much, just what we needed. On the inside the cabin was nice. There was a main living room area that connected to the kitchen. There was a small hall with one door on each side. Inside one of them was the small bathroom. The other had the bedroom. Again pretty small. Just one queen bed, a side table with a lamp, and a closet.

We put our cloths in there, and I returned to the living room. One of the walls was a huge glass window. Showing an amazing view of the beautiful forest at night. I was admiring it when I felt arms wrap around me from behind, and a head on my shoulder. By the hair and his smell, I knew it was Chrollo with even turning to look at him.

"Do you like it here?" He asked.

"Yes I do. It reminds me a lot of when I was a kid. This feels a lot like home."

"Well I'm glad. We should probably get to bed however. It's getting late and we got stuff to do tomorrow."

"Stuff? Like what?" I asked. I felt him chuckle a little bit.

"You'll just have to wait and see." With that Chrollo grabbed my hand and led us to the bedroom to get some sleep.
