The soft lulling of a bird outside the window awoke Draco the next morning and he rolled over, stretching out his arms and legs.

Suddenly he was on the floor, he opened his eyes and jumped up, expecting danger, but only finding Remus watching him with an amused smile.

"Morning," He smirked, "breakfast is almost over but I was gonna give you five more minutes, did I wake you,"

Draco blushed slightly, "No, no it's fine, I just forgot we're I was."

"Yeah you fell asleep here last night, seemed pretty upset, so we decided not to wake you."

Draco stared at Remus sitting peacefully in the chair before him, he could feel something gnawing at his chest, slowly creeping thought his body, yet he couldn't place what it was.

Until it hit him, square in the shoulders, "Harry, shit Harry," He spluttered and Remus stood up with a frown.

"Draco, what about Harry," He asked.

"It's fine, I gotta get down to class," He spoke quickly before grabbing his stuff and running for the Slytherin common rooms.

He got changed and ready in record time, leaving his hair in a wavy mess. Breakfast was basically empty when he arrived and seeing that Harry was nowhere around, he left without eating, heading for Herbology, very glad that he had first period with the Gryffindors.

Although when he arrived he was shocked to find that Harry was still no where to be seen.

"Where's Potter," he asked Hermione, as they stood in the slowly filling classroom waiting for Professor Sprout.

Hermione turned to him and frowned, "Wasn't he with you, he didn't come back to the dorms last night, I thought he was sleeping in the Slytherin dorms or with Sirius and Remus,"

Draco's heart stalled and he was sure it missed a beat or two, "Shit," he swore loudly.

"Mr Malfoy, please watch your tongue," Professor sprout admonished as she entered the room.

"Sorry Professor," he began, "Sorry but is there any chance I can be excused, I need to find Harry becau-,"

"I'm sure Mr Potter can find his own way to the Greenhouses, now if you would stop interrupting my lesson,"

Draco tuned out Professor Sprouts voice with a sigh and turned to face Hermione, who just gave him a sad shrug and looked back to the teacher, absorbing her every word.

Draco's agitation built by the hour as Harry continued to miss classes and meals, although no one seemed as worried as Draco.

"He could be dead," he hissed to Hermione at the end of Transfiguration.

The class was filing out and Draco was waiting for Mr Baxter to arrive for his detention.

"He's probably fine Draco, this is Harry we're talking about," She sighed.

"Yes, that's my point, this is Harry, Harry who tried to drown himself in the fucking lake," Draco snapped.

Hermione studied him for a moment, before shaking her head and turning towards the door.

"You can't deny it just because it hurts, it happened and his still liable to try it again," Draco's eyes were glistening now and his voice wavered on each word.

Hermione turned back to him one last time, "Draco just leave it, Harry will be fine, he's not like that anymore," and she left the room quickly.

"Fuck you Granger, i'll just go find himself," Draco yelled standing up and hurrying towards the door.
