Panting hard, and running fast, Dakota skidded around the corner, her hand barely touching the ground during the close call. She was soon followed by two Men who also rushed around the corner, into the darkness of the intersecting alley ways.

"Slow down babe!"

"C'mon, we don't want any trouble!" The two men called. Dakota knew what they wanted. As if she'd give it to them!

She skidded to a stop.

A dead end!? Staring at the wall, she tried to catch her breathe as quietly as possible in hopes the two men wouldn't find her. She lurked in the shadows.

"Where'd ya go~?" One called as the two searched around in the moonlit darkness of the alleyway. As they got closer, she quietly and slowly slid her bag off her right shoulder. The string straps quietly fell to the ground and she pulled the bag open. She wasn't paying attention as the taller one got closer.

"Gotcha." She jumped when she heard his voice. He grabbed her arm right before she was able to pull the pocket knife out of her bag. Why was she stupid enough to leave it in there!? He pinned her against the wall, forcing her to drop the knife into the bag, and the bag to the floor as his slightly shorter friend approached.

"Wow you're fast!"

"And she's cute too." Said the taller man.

"That's really nice of you to say, but I reaaallllyyy can't hang out with you guys right now." Dakota Smiled

"We just wanted to invite you to have a little fun with us."

"I think I'll pass."

Just then, her phone rang, of course. The shorter guy went into her front right pocket and got her phone.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you."

But they obviously didn't care what she thought. The taller one moved his lips to her neck while his friend was the look out and talked to whoever was on the phone. "She's busy." He stated with a smirk.

Dakota remained calm and played with something in her mouth. The man started moving the left side of her jacket down, when something cut the right side of his face.

"Ah!" He yelled as quiet as possible and backed off, freeing Dakota in the process. He got a quick glance at her. She was smirking with a razor blade sticking out of her mouth that dripped with a small amount of blood- His blood.

His friend turned around as Dakota grabbed her bag and swung it over her shoulder. She dodged the taller mans attempt to grab her. "Why you little-" was all the second guy got to say as she slashed his arm with her pocket knife, not badly, but enough to give her time to grab her phone and run! After a quick turn, she stopped for a second to close the knife and shove it in her pants pocket.

As she made another turn, she remembered someone was on the phone. She dropped the razor from her mouth, and answered the phone. "Hello?" She said panting.

"Ms.Misora! Is this a bad time?" Asked Izaya.

"Shit. Uhh, Can I call you back?" She asked with a nervous laugh.

"Are you okay? Who was that on the phone?"

"Uh.. My mom, Hold on a sec." She quickly glanced behind her to see the two men chasing her still, but not gaining any ground. Dakota couldn't think of anything, so she pulled off her bag and dropped the phone in, then swung it behind her again. Coming up to the chain link fence, she quickly got up on the dumpster and hopped over it. Now out on the street, she walked instead of running, and got the phone out of her bag.

"Sorry about that."

"Hmm. Well, About what we talked about the other day.."

"Yeah, what about it?" She asked, glancing behind her every minute or two.

"I'd like you to come by tomorrow."

"Yeah sure.." She said, Finally catching her breathe.

"Wonderful! See you at noon than!" And he hung up. Dakota sighed and took one last glance behind her. People, but not the two guys. Good.

"Who was that?"

"Well if you must know, Namie, that was Ikebukaro's Alley Cat."

"Oh?"

"Yep!" He got out of his spin chair and walked over to his game board as he spoke to himself.

"My new toy."
