The Mystery Husband

ELLIE's POV

Everyone enjoyed the dinner, yung iba naman maaga pa umalis para makapagpahinga na pero yung mga boss namin are still active to enjoy the night.

Ilang sandali tinawag kami ng producer at director and they invited us to sit with them kaya agad naman kaming pumayag. I planned to sit with Zach but Jethro intruded kaya naghanap nalang ako ng ibang pwesto. Umupo nalang ako sa tabi nya at tumawag pa sila ng waiter for more drinks.

" I'm sure this film will be a hit... Ms. Ellie Chavez is really a versatile actress" papuri sakin ni Mr. Garcia na isa rin sa major sponsors ng pelikula.

"Thanks Mr. Garcia... but I'm not the only one working... without a good director, a film will never be as good as we imagine" paliwanag ko naman.

"I heard that you're already married... okay lang ba sa asawa mo that you're staying here?" tanong nya. "Halos hindi ka na maka-uwi" dagdag pa nya.

"Her marriage is fake" singit ulit ni Jethro kaya agad ko sya kinurot para tumahimik.

"Whhaaat!! totoo naman ah!" angal nya pa.

"He actually visits me from time to time." sagot ko sa tanong ni Mr. Garcia.

"I never saw him before... what does your husband look like?" tanong naman ni Kayla.

"You've actually seen him" tipid kong sagot sakanya.

Kagaya ko, Zach doesn't really like attention and it's also fine with me.

"I'm sure your husband is very lucky to have you as his wife" sagot naman ng producer namin.

"When do you plan to divorce him?" tanong naman ni Jethro.

"Walang divorce sa Pilipinas" agad na sagot ni Zach and he seems annoyed yet I secretly laughed at him.

"Jethro, ano bang pinagsasabi mo" sagot naman ng Director sakanya.

"My cousin told me that someone made a stupid mistake to Ellie before then Ellie is suddenly married after that scandal broke out" paliwanag nya refering to what Raymond did to me.

I remember that It was all over the news pero ako lang ang naalala nila, and they barely recognize Zach.

"Naniwala ka naman" sagot ni Kayla sakanya.

"We're married before that scandal " sagot ko naman sakanya.

"Umalis na nga tayo dito Jet... lasing ka na ata eh" pagyaya ni Kayla sakanya.

Kayla literally dragged Jethro out para ihatid na sa cottage nya.

Ilang sandali nagpaalam nadin ako ng mapansin kong kami nalang pala ang natitira dito.

"I also have to go" paalam ko.

" I'll send you back" sabi naman ni Zach kaya tumango lang ako at tumayo na.

"Mr. Montgomery, ano kaba, did you forget that Ms. Ellie is married??" Sabi naman ni Mr. Garcia.

"He's actually my husband Sir" sagot ko naman and they were all stunned upon hearing it. 

"What??" He chuckled out of disbelief.

They softly laugh at nag-apologize sa amin. Agad na din akong hinatid ni Zach sa cottage ko.

"Aren't you staying?" Tanong ko sakanya pagdating namin sa cottage ko.

"I wish I could, kaso may breakfast meeting ako bukas with Mr. Montenegro and the producer of an international film So I really have to go" paliwanag nya naman.
