Isabelle Montero is my bestfriend since high school and because of hard work, nakakuha sya ng grant that helped her to pursue her dreams in U.S.

While reminiscing our past she suddenly got curious about my marriage life.

"So how did u met your husband? Who confess first? Ikaw noh?" Natatawa nyang tanong.

"I should ask you kung nagkaboyfriend ka ba sa U.S" sagot ko din sakanya.

"That's also the reason why I came here, I'm still working on it kaya hwag mo na iwasan ang tanong ko... How did you met your husband?.. kung hindi ako nagkakamali, is it Daniel?? I still remember that he really likes you" dagdag pa nya na sobrang excited pa.

" Daniel and I almost got married but he's not my husband now" sagot ko naman and she gave me a very curious look while munching some food.

"To make the long story short... after Daniel left me on our wedding day, I got drunk, I met a man na iniwan din ng bride nya sa parehong araw... We played a game and decided to get married and we ended up sleeping together"

"I cannot believe that all of the people si Daniel pa talaga ang nang-iwan sayo? and you really dare to sleep with a man you barely knew? you're crazy!" panghuhusga nya sakin.

"Yeah, I know! Hindi nga rin ako makapaniwala sa nagawa ko. After that Marriage, I was so depressed, sinubukan kong kalimutan ang lahat but that marriage is legal by law... Syempre agad akong nagfile ng annulment but my grandmother suddenly want me to marry a man who almost raped me and He came to save me! yung taong kinamuhian ko ended up helping me and I end up needing his help dahil wala na talaga akong choice, so we had a contractual relationship... months later.. I got to know him better... Lhe's gentle, kind and generous....I don't believe in love at first sight but he insisted that he loved me the first time he met me" paliwanag ko.

"Aww... Ang sweet naman.... I wanna meet your husband soon" she said.

"You'll meet him soon... eh ikaw? May boyfriend kana? O baka naman engage kana?" tanong ko din sakanya.

"Gaya ng sabi ko, I'm still working on it" tipid nyang sagot.

"Ang haba-haba ng kwento ko sayo tapos bibitinin mo ko sa kwento ng buhay mo?" Sagot ko naman at napatawa lang sya bago pinatuloy ang kwento nya.

" When I was in college... I met a student from Harvard habang nagpapart time job ako sa isang public library doon. Araw-araw syang tumatambay sa library to solve math problems na magisa... at napansin ko talaga that we're so much alike... he's also an Orphan, Math is life and we shared the same goal na maging successful in the same field, we became friends at napagkakamalan pa kaming mag jowa, tinulungan nya din ako na makakuha ng scholarship sa Harvard kaya naging magkaklase kami...but luck isn't really on my side... Mas successful sya sakin ngayon and I just manage to invest some of my money sa business nya. 3 years ago, He decided na umuwi ng Pilipinas to settle here.. sobrang lungkot ko ng malaman yun... Actually I worked so hard para sa opportunity na makauwi ng Pilipinas.. My work isn't that easy and now is my chance... I will surely confess my feelings kapag magkikita na kami... Hindi ko na sya pakakawalan pa" paliwanag nya and I kinda pitty her. She really sound so desperate.

"I'll just cheer you up... I hope magiging successful ang one sided love mo" pabiro ko pa sakanya.

"No it's not! he might not talk so much but I'm sure he likes me too. Nahihiya lang yun...tsaka sa ugali nya palang tiyak na walang magtatagal dun... Only I can handle a perfect man like him" sabi nya naman and she suddenly offered me a wine.

"No thanks... I don't feel like having some" agad kong sagot sakanya.

"Ang KJ mo naman...kainis!" She said at napatawa nalang ako.
