Family and Rival

Zach's POV

"Finally the research is going smoothly... thanks to you" Belle expressing her gratitude.

We've been spending days to make this research go smoothly, althought there's still areas that needs to be polished so we can get the result that we're expecting. Belle is not the only one who flew from U.S. because she also brought her team for the research.

"It's not just me.. all of us did our part... thanks to your team" sagot ko din sakanya.

"How about a dinner later? since we got here, we never had a chance for a team dinner.. that is what I'm looking forward to!" pagyayaya naman ni Sam, one of the researchers.

"Oo nga naman... I guess we do deserve a break" sagot naman ni Belle at syempre hindi na ako tututol pa. Sa ilang araw na pagpupuyat, we do deserve to celebrate before we step up to the next stage of this research.

"Why don't you invite your wife? I'm really interested on meeting her" dagdag nya.

"I'm not sure about that... but let me ask her first" sagot ko naman so I immediately call Ellie. 

Agad nya namang sinagot ang tawag ko but I only hear her sobbing. 

"Are you okay?" tanong ko kaagad. 

She might've met her grandmother kaya sya nagkakaganito.

"I'll be fine... bat ka napatawag?" she said but I'm getting worried

"Where are you?"

"Ikaw? nasan ka? pupuntahan nalang kita"

"I'm in the office" sagot ko and she just hanged up on me.

"So... Is she coming?" tanong naman ni Belle.

"I don't think so" tipid ko namang sagot while trying to figure out what I should do. 

"Ahmmm. Excuse me for a while... lalabas lang ako" paalam ko sakanila at nagmadaling lumabas sa office pero bigla akong pinigilan ni Belle. 

"What's going on?" takang-taka nyang tanong. 

"It's Ellie... I think she needs me right now" sagot ko naman at nagmadaling naglakad papuntang elevator while Belle is following me.

"Ellie? who's Ellie?" tanong nya ulit. 

"My wife, of course" agad ko namang sagot and she followed me hanggang sa labas ng building.

ELLIE's POV

After ng filming, dumaan ako sa bahay namin to meet Mamita. Luckily hindi na ako hinarang sa guard house ng subdivision. Gumana siguro ang araw-araw ko na pagpapadala sakanya ng favorite flowers niya. 

I'm not sure if everyone agrees with me but people like my Mamita are too old fashion kaya lagi kaming nagkakaroon ng misunderstanding, tulad nalang ng ginawa nya sakin with Raymond.  I really hate her for doing that but she's still my grandmother. 

Wala ding nakagwardya sa labas ng bahay kaya agad akong naka-pasok sa loob. Naikot ko muna ang loob ng bahay bago ko sya nakita sa labas na inaayos ang mga tanim nya sa garden, kaya agad ko syang pinuntahan doon. 

"Mamita" tawag ko sakanya at agad naman syang napalingon.
She just glared at me, making me feel unwelcome.

"Ang kapal naman ng pagmumukha mo na magpakita pa dito" she said na pinagpapatuloy ang ginagawa nya while trying hard not to face me.
