"Cut the shit Ivanov. Where is Mully?" Frank snaked a hand around Y/N's waist, pulling her inside the room and closing the door.
Mr. Ivanov went silent and the people sitting around the table gasped and whispered.
"I-I don't know what you're talking about." Mr. Ivanov stuttered and laughed uncomfortably again.
Frank took a step closer to him and looked down at the abnormally large man.
"I'm going to ask again. Where is Mully?" Frank raised his voice.
Y/N stood behind him. Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped.
But Mully is dead... Right?, Y/N thought. She hyperventilated.
"Are you drunk? I'm going to call security if you don't leave at once." Mr. Ivanov stood his ground and cleared his throat. Frank's eyes decreased in size. His eyes through the mask looked like deep black holes with a small red circle in the middle.
"I created you Ivanov. I can easily ruin your precious reputation with just a pen and paper." Frank lowered his head, looking down at Ivanov.
"You wouldn't dare." Mr. Ivanov lowered his voice and clenched his fists.
"Oh but I would. This isn't a hard task. Tell me where Mully is." Frank softened.
Mr. Ivanov gave in.
"The abandoned subway behind the pillar to the left of the mark." Mr. Ivanov sighed.
Frank nodded and turned to leave but quickly turned back around.
"Clear the area. I will hold a meeting in exactly an hour." Frank looked at his watch and then nodded at Mr. Ivanov and left with Y/N close beside him.
Frank walked quickly, occasionally looking at his watch and then picking up his pace.
They got into the car and Frank exhaled loudly.
"Is Mully... Alive?" Y/N gulped.
Frank looked at her and took off his mask. His eyes were dark with vengeance.
"To be quite honest, I don't know." Frank said with anger and impatience.
Y/N nodded and lifted her head up.
Frank drove off, going past the speed limit. He made sharp turns and would curse under his breath every time a minute has gone by.
They pulled up into the abandoned subway and Frank parked right outside and put his mask back on. He didn't bother opening the door for Y/N. He instead went straight into the subway.
Y/N got out of the car and caught up with Frank. They walked toward where the train tracks were destroyed and took a left turn. Frank looked straight forward at a pillar.
A loud cough came from behind it.
Frank walked toward the pillar. Y/N followed.
"Mully?" Frank asked. A middle aged man leaned on the pillar, his back facing Frank.
The man turned around. Y/N expected the man to be Mully but it wasn't.
The man turned around to face Frank and Y/N.
Frank stepped back when he realized that it wasn't Mully.
"That fucking liar." Frank mumbled under his breath.
"Who are you?" Frank asked the man.
"I can't say." The man had a raspy voice.
Frank's eyes went small again. His fists tightened.
"Just tell me who you are." Frank changed his usual professional voice to an aggressive tone.
The man stammered and shook his head.
Y/N stood beside Frank, not saying a word.
Frank pulled out a gun from his suit jacket in a swift move and pointed it down on the man. The man went stiff and put his hands up.
Frank towered over him and looked down at the sitting man.
"Tell me everything." Frank demanded. Y/N felt bad for the man but only slightly.
"Some man told me to stay behind a pillar for a night and threatened to kill me if I didn't. He's paying me to do this." The man whimpered. Frank lowered the gun.
Y/N grabbed Frank's forearm. Frank looked at her and softened. He turned his attention back to the man.
"I'll let you go this time but I want you to stay here until I come back." Frank commanded. The man quickly nodded. Frank put his gun back in his coat.
Frank led Y/N outside the abandoned subway and they leaned against the wall.
Frank pulled her into a hug and rested his head on her's. He held her tightly.
"I'm sorry Y/N." Frank said quietly. Y/N was stunned. Frank never acted this way.
"What do you mean?" Y/N said as she hugged him back, balancing on her tippy toes. She inhaled Frank's cologne and sighed.
"I never meant for any of this to happen." Frank held her close.
Y/N pulled away slightly and looked at Frank. The usual gleam in his eye faded. All that was left was emptiness.
Over the time, Frank grew to care for Y/N. He had never felt loved and didn't want the same for Y/N. He wanted her to be happy.
Y/N took off his mask and held it. His jaw tenses and his soft, brown hair flopped down. There were small cuts and bruises on his eyes and sculpted cheekbones.
"Y/N, do you trust me?" Frank asked. He smirked slightly but it was forced.
"Well I really don't have a choice." Y/N teased.
Frank pulled away softly.
"Do you trust me enough to let me go?" Frank asked. Y/N's heart dropped.
"What?" Y/N stepped back.
"Would you let me die for you?" Frank asked again.
"What?! Of course not." Y/N raised her voice a little bit.
"I need you to say yes." Frank sighed.
Y/N shook her head.
Frank took a step towards her. He looked down at her and put both hands on her waist, pulling her into his chest.
Y/N tilted her head up and was a millimeter away from Frank's lips.
Multiple cars pulled up and circled around them.
People in elegant work clothing circled around, all pointing guns at them.
A particularly thin, tall man stepped closer to them along with a large, short man beside him.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't little pride and prejudice having a moment." The familiar thin man said.
Y/N peered closer at them.
Robert Fairchild and Mr. Ivanov were now standing in front of them.
"Intimidation and manipulation. I haven't forgotten about your facade Frank. Go ahead and tell Y/N who you really are."
A/N: Yeah, Frank is soft for you ❤️
