"I'm sorry Y/N. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do it." Frank cried.

Y/N looked at the gun and then looked back at him.

"Frank..." Y/N struggled to say his name.

"Y/N. I'm sorry, okay." Frank's knuckles were bloodied up even more.

Y/N was shocked. She couldn't move.

"Frank. Why?" Y/N stepped back, against the wall of the hallway.

Frank stood up. He walked over to the sink and washed his hands.

Y/N watched him. He was breaking down slowly. He was misunderstood.

He was about to walk over to Y/N but he stopped.

"I did it because..." Frank sighed.

Y/N pressed against the wall.

"He knew too much." Frank lied.

Y/N looked at him, a tinge of guilt hit her.

"Don't lie to me Frank." Y/N said. Her cheeks flushed.

Frank looked at her and gulped. He looked at the bathroom.

Frank stepped out of the bathroom and walked towards Y/N.

Y/N felt sympathetic for Frank and hugged him. He collapsed in her arms and held her tightly, repeating 'I'm sorry' over and over again.

Y/N held him tightly. A part of her wanted to run away and never look back. But the other part wanted to stay with Frank. She didn't know why though.

"Y/N." Frank let her go and looked down at her. His red eyes glaring at her.

"Yes?" Y/N asked. She leaned against the wall.

Frank cleared his throat.

"Don't give up on me yet." Frank gulped.

Y/N looked at him. She snapped out of her trance.

"You're a murderer Frank." Y/N said softly. Frank looked like he had shattered.

"Y/N. I don't have a choice." Frank's voice quivered.

Y/N reached for the dagger on her thigh but Frank quickly stopped her. He put his hand on her thigh and gripped it tightly.

He pinned her against the wall and pressed his chest against hers. His hair dangled over his face and his red eyes peeked through.

"I'm not a threat to you, Y/N. I told you that I don't want to hurt you." Frank peered at her desperately.

Y/N tilted her head back and glowered at Frank.

"Let me go." Y/N demanded. Frank looked at her for a second and let her go, softly brushing her thigh with his steel rings and cold hands.

Y/N rushed upstairs and into Frank's room. She got all of her stuff and looked at the balcony. She looked at Frank's car keys on the wardrobe and grabbed it.

Y/N looked down the balcony and took a deep breath.

She climbed out and got on the edge of the mansion.

"Holy shit." Y/N murmured.

Y/N slowly climbed down. Once she got nearer, she jumped down.

Y/N quickly hid behind a bush, checking if there were any people.

She held Frank's car keys and looked at his car parked in front of the mansion.

Y/N took a deep breath and walked over to the car, quickly getting in and starting it.
~
Y/N pulled up to her apartment and looked at the time. 6:30.

She got out of the car and walked into the apartment building.

She felt like she was being watched by someone and it wasn't Frank.

Y/N stepped into her apartment and saw Jake, Fresh, Yutani, and Tricky all standing in the kitchen.

Jake looked at her and brightened.

"Oh, Y/N—" Jake stopped and looked at her shirt.

"Is that blood?" Jake stepped closer to her.

"I'm on my period." Y/N lied with no hesitation.

They were convinced. Fresh peered at Y/N. He tapped his temple teasingly. Jake didn't look away from Y/N. Instead, he observed her quietly.

Y/N cleared her throat.

"Mully's alive." Y/N said. Yutani's eyes widened. Fresh spit out water in shock. Tricky dropped her phone and Jake choked on a grape.

"Deadass?" Fresh asked.

Y/N nodded. They stood like statues.

"Well shit. We already called the funeral home." Fresh tapped on the table. Jake laughed but quickly clamped his hand over his mouth.

Y/N gave up. She walked over to her room and plopped down on her bed. A loud ding interrupted her.

She looked at her phone and saw a text from an unknown number. She read the text.

I'm not a threat.

Frank.

Y/N dropped her phone on her bed. She tried to fall asleep but then she remembered.

The Fairchild mansion.
~
Y/N woke up at 2 pm. Everyone was still asleep.

Y/N walked over to the bathroom and looked at herself.

She still wore Frank's shirt. Blood was spattered on it. Unsure if it was Frank's or someone else's, Y/N ignored it. She wore the scabbard on her thigh that still held the dagger. Her mascara and eyeliner was smudged.

Y/N washed her face and re-applied her mascara and eyeliner.

She walked out of the bathroom quietly and grabbed Frank's car keys.
~
Y/N drove to the Fairchild mansion and parked at the front. There were no cars to be seen so Y/N assumed that no one was home.

She knocked on the door to make sure. There was no answer. She bust open the door and quickly made her way to Tricky's old room.

Y/N remembered what Mully told her.

The heirloom was in Tricky's room in the closet, behind the ballet shoes.

Y/N rushed to Tricky's room and opened the door violently.

She went to Tricky's closet and saw the ballet shoes. She looked behind it but there was nothing. A deep voice startled her.

"Looking for something, Y/N?"

A/N: So, this chapter is boring but the next chapter is when shit goes down. Also, since it is the 24th part, this book is almost coming to an end which means you and Frank's relationship has already started building up. I might do smut later on if you guys want but I want this fanfic to actually have a plot instead of getting right into the smut.

Also, I imagine Frank to be cold-hearted and an absolute ass because he's broken inside. I don't imagine him to be a nice, caring person to someone that he doesn't trust. So yes, he is very toxic.
