“Just a friend?” Plagg deadpanned. The two were now back in his bedroom, and Adrien lay face-down in his bed. “I thought you were still deciding between Ladybug and Kagami, and now you’re adding Marinette to the mix?” Plagg asked.

“Plagg!” Adrien groaned, pulling his face out of his comforter. “I don’t get it. Marinette’s my friend. I shouldn’t be feeling this way!” He complained. Plagg snorted. “See kid. This is why I stick with cheese,” He said, gobbling a wheel of camembert down.

“But, Plagg!” Adrien continued. “We’ve been friends for years. And suddenly, I begin having the same feelings for her like I have for Ladybug?” He groaned in confusion. Plagg flew to his holder’s shoulder. “I dunno. Maybe you saw a side of her that you don’t normally see.” Adrien groaned again, flopping his head back into his sheets.

“But I also thought that I was over Ladybug! But the way she looked at me, Plagg - you should’ve seen it!” He exclaimed - lovestruck. Plagg snorted. “I did see it. Bleh. You humans are so emotional,”

Adrien rolled his eyes. “Maybe I still like her. But that means I also like her, Kagami, and Marinette!” He groaned, smacking himself in the face with his pillow. “Plagg! What do I do now?”

“Relax, kid,” Plagg reassured his holder. “You’ll figure it out,”

“TIKKI! THIS DOESN’T MAKE ANY SENSE!” Marinette was groaning, having a similar conversation with her kwami. She took a seat in her desk chair - banging her head on the surface of her desk.

“What doesn’t make sense?” Tikki asked in confusion, flying to Marinette’s side. Marinette sat up with a groan. “I’m supposed to like Luka now. Not Adrien or Cat Noir! But right now, I havel..l have these butterflies in my stomach! Just by talking to him!” Marinette exclaimed.

Tikki shrugged. “Maybe you still like him,” She suggested. Marinette stiffened, and began awkwardly laughing loudly. “Pft-me? Still like him?” Her head slowly began to turn to the box she kept of his pictures, and her eyes widened. “I LIKE HIM!” She shouted in alarm. “I LIKE CAT NOIR! THIS IS A DISASTER!”

“How so?” Tikki asked her holder. Marinette took a deep breath. “Because I agreed to go on a date with Luka. And if I still like Adrien, and I’m starting to like Cat Noir, that means I’m just leading Luka on. And when he finds out, he’s going to be sad, and then I’ll be responsible for ruining his life and then-”

“You’re rambling,” Tikki warned, flying onto Marinette’s shoulder. “Calm down, Marinette. You still have a week before your date with Luka. That’s enough time to sort out your feelings and get back on track!”

Marinette gave her kwami a grateful smile. “You’re right, Tikki. So what if I’m confused right now? I can get this sorted out!” She exclaimed joyfully. Her expression faltered as she realized what she had to do. “Tikki….doesn’t that mean I have to find out which guy I like the best?”
