The engine cut out as Kalmin pulled the keys out of the ignition, and dropped them into his coat pocket.

Cameron leaned back in her seat, stomach rumbling quietly as the smell of fries and burgers filled the inside of the van. A couple of bags were each placed on the empty seats, the one in between Reid and Diego in the back, and the one to the left of Arlo as he sat in the middle.

They had stopped at a take away to grab all the food, which had already been ordered. She wasn't able to see where they had got the food from, and none of the bags had any logo or name on which didn't give her any idea of where they were heading.

As she reached for the handle of the door, it was pulled open, Myles standing smiling on the other side. Cameron rolled her eyes, hand that had been going for the handle grabbing her rucksack off the floor. She slipped it onto her shoulders and jumped out, blood stained pumps thumping as they landed on the dark grey, cracked concrete of an underground car park.

She stepped out of the way, making room for everyone else to climb out, and scanned her surroundings. It was dark, cold and dingy. It was quite a large underground car park, but there weren't many cars parked. Cameron questioned the condition of the hotel if this was it's car park.

She rubbed her bare arms, the t-shirt she was wearing doing nothing to keep her warm against the breeze whistling through the room. She cursed herself for not grabbing a jumper, as she had not been wearing one when she ran. She would just have to grab one out of the rucksack once she got inside.

"Come on," Kalmin ordered, strolling towards a pair of marigold painted doors a few meters away from the parked van.

Cameron grumbled as she followed, questioning her sanity as she trudged between Arlo and Myles. They didn't make it obvious, but she could tell they were there in case she tried to make a run for it.

It wouldn't be a bad plan to do so, except she had no idea where she was, and Reid was walking behind her, still carrying his sniper rifle. At least, she assumed it was his. He looked quite comfortable carrying it.

"Ooo, you're going to love Lloyd. Even though you're like a mix of Diego and Reid, with your lovely sarcastic and blunt personality, they like him so I'm sure you will as well." Arlo rambled as they climbed two flights of stairs after going through the marigold doors. They weren't much cleaner than the car park they had just come from. "Though, you are a chef like Myles. Maybe you can both cook something sometime. Maybe lasagne, as every one here likes that."

Cameron turned to Myles. "You cook?"

Myles nodded, his eyes lighting up at the question. "Yes. After spending years eating either burnt food or takeaways, I took a few classes. We all eat a lot more healthily now."

Cameron shivered at the thought of not being able to cook. She wouldn't know how she would survive on takeaways and burnt food. It didn't sound like the best lifestyle but she had to learn to cook at a fairly young age, so she never really had to get takeaways. Though she did have to eat burnt food when she overcooked it.

"My teacher taught me when I was nine." Cameron smiled thinking back on the countless lunches and breaks spent cooking in the canteen with her favourite teacher. "I fell in love with making something people can enjoy. I just never stopped after that."

Arlo beamed beside her, the skip in his step becoming more prominent. She raised an eyebrow at the happier attitude, but he just gave his cheesy grin, as if he had won the lottery.

When they got to the top of the two flights of stairs, a crimson door met them. A sign, curly white writing standing out on a black background, no bigger than an A3 sheet of paper, stated the name of the hotel on the other side of the doors.
