KENZIE'S POV
soon after Johnny joined me at the table, Nadia and Emily came back with food. They sat down with a confused look on their faces
"What?" I asked them, laughing a little
"Just...how comes your sat with us Johnny?" Nadia asked him shyly
"Uhm well I missed Kenz" he shrugged
"Why do you not want me here?" He added
"Oh no not that it's just won't it 'hurt' your social status sitting with us?" Emily questioned
"I don't care about that anymore. If people want to leave me because I like hanging out with you all then they can go to hell" Johnny admitted
"Aw really?" I asked him
"Yeah" he smiled, holding my hand
"Johnny can I speak to you? In private?" A voice from behind Johnny said
We turned around to see a very angry Brynn
"Um let me think....no" Johnny sarcastically smiled at her before rolling his eyes
"Seriously?! Your being like that" she huffed
"We're not together anymore Brynn. You can't control me" he shrugged
"She's changed you! You were perfect before!" She hissed
"Nah I was a dick before" Johnny confidently replied
She made a loud sigh before stomping off
Johnny and I laughed while my girls were sat in shock
"You just stood up to her" Annie muttered
"Yeah, I don't care what she thinks anymore" Johnny huffed
"That. Was. Cool" Emily mumbled
We laughed until I heard someone clear there throat Infront of me. I looked up to see Isaak
"Oh hi Isaak!" I said happily
I could see in the corner of my eye, Johnny subtly rolling his eyes in annoyance
"What's up Isaak?"
"I just wanted to see if you wanted to hang out later? There's this really cool skate park I know-"
"She's busy" Johnny sharply said
I quickly turned to him, eyes wide
"Sorry Isaak about him" I hit Johnny in the arm
"I can meet after school" I replied smiling
"Cool, see you then" he softly said before walking off
"Seriously Kenz? I told you about him" Johnny whispered
"We're just friends" I shrugged
"Whatever, but I'm going to get you for that" Johnny said with a smirk
Just as he said that, the bell rang
"Time to go I guess" Nadia sighed standing up
"What's your lesson?" Johnny asked, carrying my books for me
"Math...and you don't need to carry my books" I said laughing
"Nope sorry. Its my purpose to carry them. And walk you to math" he smiled, holding my hand
