XXXII. The next day

KENZIES POV

The next day I walked into school with Johnny who was holding my hand tightly.
We met up in the hall with Nadia, Emily and Annie, who apart from Annie looked very confused as to why I was holding Johnny's hand

"W-what about Isa-" Nadia began but was cut off by Annie's squeal

I looked down, not really wanting to talk about Isaak, but Johnny respond for me

"We may have realised that we uh...loveeachother" he said the last part quickly

Everyone's eyes widened

"HOW?!" Emily hissed
"WHEN?!" Nadia followed

"Yesterday. We got a little drunk the night before and we confessed to each other" he simply explained, not going into much detail.

"Oh my god that's crazy" Emily whispered

"Why does this always happen when you two are drunk" Nadia joked

"Guys! Does Lauren know?" Emily shyly asked

Johnny and I looked at each other then back to my friends

"No not yet. But we want to be the ones to tell her" I finally spoke up

"Of course. We can respect that desicion" Annie smiled warmly

Just as Johnny was about to say goodbye and let go of me, his grip grew tighter. Confused, I turned my head to my left. Stood staring at us as he walked in was Isaak. But he wasn't alone...he was along side this other tall girl

"Who's that?" I asked Annie

"I think she's the new girl. Eden" Nadia shrugged
"I don't know why she's with him though" she added

In a matter of seconds Johnnys arm wrapped around my shoulders and I noticed Isaak was walking in our direction, with this Eden girl.

"Sup losers" he spat

"Get the hell away from us Presley" Johnny stated

"Don't worry. I won't be around you for too long. Just showing off my girl here Eden"

"Your girl?" Annie questioned

"Yeah. Eden here is my girlfriend" he smugly smiled

I noticed Johnny getting increasingly annoyed and he was close to letting his anger out. To help him stay calm I rubbed my thumb along his hand

"Nice to see you've moved on so soon" I let out in a surprisingly confident voice

"Yes well not like there was anything special to get over"

How lovely of him. This caused Johnny to react and I didn't have time to stop him
He lunged forward and punched Isaak in the face. Suddenly everyone around us focused on the fight and crowded the area

"ISAAK" that girl Eden yelled, getting to the floor to help him up

I held Johnnys arm made him face me
"Come on. It's okay let's go"

He was hesitant but agreed
I dragged him away and brought him into the girls bathroom

"I-im not allowed to be in here Kenz" he chuckled, looking around

"I don't care. Give me your hand" I snapped, taking his hand in mine and looking at how red and slightly cut it was

"Sorry. I didn't mean to snap I just don't like seeing you in fights" I apologised
