Every other Potterhead out there has probably figured this out by now, but I'm still going to post this.

Remus J. Lupin. Werewolf. Moony. Known as Romulus on Potterwatch. In Roman Mythology, the god of wars, Mars, had two sons named Remus and Romulus who were raised by wolves. This just shows how much effort Rowling put into creating names for characters. Remus is a werewolf nicknames Romulus on Potterwatch. His last name, Lupin, comes from the Latin word Lupine meaning wolf. Mind. Blown.

Somehow I'm just figuring this out. There are probably so many other names and connections like the Black family and their obsession with pureblood supremacy and constellation names.
